adhd

hi, my son 14 adopted when he was 2,5 from Africa now living in Italy, has been diagnosed with adhd when he was ten, but has shown symptoms of this sindrome since i first met him, oppositional from the age of 2 and half, bed wetting until few months ago, started to speak by the age of 5-6, a catastrophy at school, but very charmiong and intelligent, he attracts people because he is very direct and has little social inhibitions. He has entered adolescence and is showing the worstening signs of his sindrome: very disobedient, defiant and almost impossible to have any control, whereas I have always had a good control over him as a child. I have to say that he showed from the beginning an attachment problem, easily going to strangers and embracing them. I know his mother left him when he was one year old and probably never really nurtured him untill that age. He also loves music and dancing, easily annoyed when people talk or sing. Extremely lethargic in the morning and very irritable and irrational late at night when. When confronted, lies easily, and if an argument starts, talks nonsense and rants. He has always impressed us for his incapacity to convey any sense when he is angered, since he was a child. I have decided to try Stramonium 200 and tarentula hispanica 200. I would like to know
a) if they can be used together and
b)they should be taken once a week? and then what? I would like some clear advise on dosage, also if a different potency is more suited.
I also have two more younger children of which he is obviously very jealous, however, concerning, my daughter of 5 years who craves sweets a lot and is very clingy, I would liek to try saccharum officinalis 200. Can you tell me how often should be taken?
thank you

You have decided and but I must warn, you are playing with fire. This half baked homeopathy is at times more dangerous than allopathy as you are dealing with dynamic deep acting medicines (esp Tarent). Just remember that with a great power to cure also comes a great power to cause harm. These medicines are not to be taken lightly. This is not like pill-popping.

I don't understand, I thought homoeopathy was safe. On this very website at http://abchomeopathy.com/homeopathy.htm
it says:

'Homeopathy is completely safe. Even babies and pregnant women can use Homeopathy without the danger of side effects. Homeopathic remedies can also be taken alongside other medication without producing unwanted side effects.'

You are saying that is not true. Even more dangerous than allopathy? So either self prescribing or inaccurate prescribing by a qualified homeopath can lead to serious consequences, is this correct?

Depends on what you call 'serious'. For me, any long term worsening of a patient's state of health is a serious problem.

Also, in most cases it is not the remedy choice which will cause harm, it will be the dosing method which will lead to problems. Any person who has understood the fundamentals of homeopathy should ideally not go wrong with the dosage, but heh, we don't live in an ideal world, do we ?
