I have started Pankaj Varma treatment on pilonidal sinus Page 5 of 14
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The rupture points will close down. (Pin holes). If skin is pitted at some place...that will take a while to heal.
One dose of Silicea 200 will work for 12 to 14 days..so let me know progress after that. To my mind...the channels have all been cleaned up till now. They wil l dry up now with the 200 potency.
Calcarea Sulph will help to stop making of fresh pus in the system.
Apply Calendula cream on all the pin holes and pitted area..it has tremendous healing power on the skin.

It has been 2 weeks since I last reported progress.
From the 8th of December to the 16th of December(8 days) there was no pain at all for the first time in about 9 years no matter what way I sat or pressed against it and the red spot was getting smaller and smaller.
But on Friday the 17th of December the red spot started to get bigger and painfull again and it burst again on Sunday the 19th of December.
It is still quite painfull now.
I have been taking Calc. Sulph 6x and Nat Phos. 6x and I took Silicea 200c 2 weeks ago.
I have been keeping the diet also and Its now coming up to Christmas!
What advice do you suggest now?

If it is not leaking any pus and blood..take Ledum 200c morning and evening. (For a week).
This med will help to take away the pain and seal up the opening.
I am glad you had 8 peaceful days. Things will improve further.
Continue Calcarea Sulph 6x and Nat Phos 6x.

Ok Punkaj, I will order Ledum 200c but it may not come untill after Christmas so is it ok to just continue with Calc. Sulph and Nat. Phos untill it arrives?

Yes continue. Try to get Ledum 200 from local herbal foods store. If they don't have 200c potency then get Ledum 30c.

Hi Punkaj,
The Ledum 30c arrived this evening- they did not have the 200c.
The red spot has been sore to touch and oozing over the last few weeks and is currently open.
I am currently taking nat. phos. and calcarea sulph.
Can you please advise me of my next steps?

Please post your current symptoms including pain, amount of pus, color and thickness of pus, blood, mental and physical? Please give info. in detail.

Yes I hope Punkaj is ok.
Thank you very much for responding to me.
I am currently not on any medication. The pus is red, yellow and brown. It is quite sore to touch and oozing a fair bit. Mentally im a little dis appointed that my good progress seems to have stopped and im taking homeopathy for around 4 months and i havnt a result yet. But I think it was working and hopefully if I work hard at my diet and the homeopathy with the help of good people like your self I may be able to be cured of this once and for all.

Ledum Pal 30c is the same as Ledum 30c- correct? Also how many pills are to be taken of Ledum 30c in a dosage? and is it to be taken in morning and evening and for how long- a week?

Just giving you a daily update. Today I started the Ledum 30c and Calc Sulp 6x. There was no pain and it was comfortable for me to sit in any position very soon after taking the meds.
The pus was yellow/clear and the blood was normal colour (red).
I do not ever really get constipated.
No itching or burning I suppose due to no pain probably from taking the meds.
Thats everything I can think of.

There was not much pus really- maybe 3 drops all day and maybe 3 times more blood. It is mainly blood. The pus colour description doesnt really have a colour- probably watery colour- its mainly blood and not much pus at all.
Today the sinus is closed and no pus or blood is coming out. It was a little sore this morning but it is pain free again now.

I should have the Calc Sulph 200c next week.
The meds that I have at the moment are :Myristica 200c, Myristica 6, Silicea 6c and 200c , Ledum 30c, Belladona 200c, and Nat Phos.

The sinus was very itchy last night and a little bit sore earlier today.
The sinus was slightly open earlier today with about a quatre of a drop of blood or less.
It feels fine at the moment.
I have a little constipation for maybe 1 minute before going to toilet and stool hard for the last few days. Something I normally dont experience. Thats all.

No pus yesterday- correct, just tiny little bit of blood.
Very slightly sore for a short time this morning.
The sinus didn't open today either and I started taking the Nat. Phos. 6x today also.
The sinus is feeling much better again now that im back taking the homeopathy meds unlike it was when I wasn't taking the meds a few weeks ago.
I havn't taking a look at the area in a while as I just want to keep the head down and not get carried away by looking at it too much as it might upset me too much.
I just want to concentrate on the positives of taking the meds and feeling better and then when I feel there is a big enough improvement I will take a look if you think thats ok.
