Case of Lycopodium or Thuja...? Plz Help me find a permanent solution to my mental condition...! Page 3 of 4

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hey AC, I'll just say that your symptoms are ones most of us have cured many times with many different homeopathic medicines. I am sure that brisbanehomoeopath, and many of the others here have cured this state many times. I would encourage you to keep faith.

I could give you many stories of different individuals with the same or much worse problems, that were cured with homeopathy. Keep faith. :)

No improvement after 5 days? I would have expected some kind of change by then, even if only minor. No change to energy, appetite, sleep, dreams?

As I don't feel Arg-nit covers all important aspects of the case I cannot say that I have a high degree of confidence in the remedy at this point. Perhaps wait till 7 days after the dose and we can decide what to do next.

If you keep with homeopathy, it will give you quick and permanently improvement, and will dissolve these symptoms permanently.

The situation you describe, I have resolved for patients many times, and I'm sure most homeopaths have done the same also.

Well its 3 days.. Actually I had Viral fever and was on medication for it, hope it didn't interfere with Arg. Nit. I haven't found much of a relief from Arg. Nit. I guess, should I try Lyc. 30C like you mentioned earlier...? BH
Thanks

No HI suggested Lycopodium, I suggested Chocolate. I did a comparison of those remedies earlier in the post looking at what each one did or did not come up for in the analysis. It is up to you which one you want to try next.

If I’m not wrong; last time he took Arg. Nit. 1M on 15th December. Only 7 days past and he got fever which he said as Viral Fever!!! My question is why? Why it happens? Do you ask him why he told it Viral Fever? What kind of symptoms he saw last 3 days.

If it came naturally without any real infectious cause, do you really believe; it is Viral Fever or some kind of Virus Infection!!! It’s impossible, simple impossible because may be it is an aggravation caused by Arg. Nit 1M or a real sign of healing or anything else.

This question must be answered before moving on another remedy.

Anonymous_Coward,

What kind of medication you follow for Fever. Please tell us about everything related on this fever such as, its sign and symptoms, the generic name and potency of the medicines or drugs you took in this 3 days. Please tell us in details because it’s so important.

Okay BH, I will try Chocolate but in what potency? 30C or 200C or in X's?
Thanks.

In the first email you wrote...

'self medicated myself and took Lycopodium 6X. I found initially really good relief, I was feeling really good for first 2 days. I was taking it 3 times a day, 4 to 6 pellets under my tongue. Just after 5 days of regular dose I relapsed really bad and i felt as if I was in a really different and scary corner of my mind. So i stopped it and thought its time to increase the potency and so as to make it act deep. So i took Lycopodium 200C but haven't felt any effects even after 4 days of taking this single dose... what could be wrong....? Plz help... And after a few days of Lycopodium 200c single dose i took Thuja 30C....but still far way from any relief. Plz help me sort my case out...desperately in need to improve my social and mental condition.'

So much of your case seems Lycopodium, such as isolation in addition to a fear of isolation, that I think Lyco may of been correct, and that you used too much and started getting side effects. My own perspective would have been to test out Lyc. 30c in a single dose for a few days and to see what the effect was.

However, I would need to do a full review of your case and I don't have time for that at the moment.

Hi rahiq.
Thanks for taking interest in my case. The thing is that I had some liquor and was out all night in the cold, had outside food and stuff. Right after that, like on the second day, I got down with sudden high temperature fever, cold, cough, headache. I went to the doc, she gave me an injection which I guess was an antibiotic. the other medications were :
Fourts B Vitamins and Amino Acids 2 times a day,
Piroxicam 2 times a day,
3 other tablets that she gave me in open and one more medication that I am unable to figure out.

Well I hoping Chocolate to help me.
Thanks.

Homeopathic medicines don't tend to interfere with each other, right? So is it possible for me to use Chocolate, say 30C along with Lyc. 30C maybe to get sure shot positive results as both are close cases with mine?
Thanks.

With homeopathy we only use one remedy at a time. This has been found to be most effective, and it's impossible to figure out how different remedies would effect a person at the same time.

Let me give you a useful way to think about what to expect from homeopathy.

If the remedy is correct, you should feel a general improvement in well being. If you had, let's say 20 symptoms, some of them might improve immediately. The rest might improve slowly over a year or so until eventually all of the symptoms were completely and permanently cured.

Dear anonymous_coward,

An example:

2 molecule H plus 1 molecule O equals water (H2O)

But

If you mix salt (NaCl) with it than what do you find

2NaCl plus H2 (superscript) O equal NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide) and HCl (Hydrochloric Acid)

Am I right?

If you understand that than you can easily understand why two different remedy we can’t use together. If we do that, than it will create a complex situation which can’t be cured.

Please wait for the reply of BH.

Yes one remedy at a time. There is no way to rush through the process of taking remedies. You will need to choose which one you wish to try next, but it must be only one. Each remedy must be given time to act - 1-2 weeks is usual in chronic cases unless there is a dangerous situation going on in a person's health. If there has been some improvement then the remedy should be repeated at appropriate intervals.

Combining two remedies, even if one of them helps you, makes long term management of your case impossible.

If one works, which one do we go up in potency with?

If one aggravates you, which one do we stop?

If one produces new symptoms, which one is it?

If one remedy suppresses the symptoms, again which one do we stop?

If we need to use complementary remedies, intercurrents, which main remedy do we work from?

Multiple remedies only creates confusion when managing patients.

ORGANON OF MEDICINE by Hahnemann Samuel
§ 169 Sixth Edition

If, on the first examination of a disease and the first selection of a medicine, we should find that the totality of the symptoms of the disease would not be effectually covered by the disease elements of a single medicine - owing to the insufficient number of known medicines, - but that two medicines contend for the preference in point of appropriateness, one of which is more homoeopathically suitable for one part, the other for another part of the symptoms of the disease, it is not advisable, after the employment of the more suitable of the two medicines, to administer the other without fresh examination, and much less to give both together (§ 272, note) for the medicine that seemed to be the next best would not, under the change of circumstances that has in the meantime taken place, be suitable for the rest of the symptoms that then remain; in which case, consequently, a more appropriate homoeopathic remedy must be selected in place of the second medicine for the set of symptoms as they appear on a new inspection.

I believe Rahiq is suggesting we retake the case.

Anon, do you have any new symptoms at this stage?

Then I would adhere to my choice of Chocolate at this point.

There are also many indications for the mollusc family (oyster, clam, scallop etc) but at you can try the Choc first.

So you feel that there have been some deep and positive changes?

If so, then pursuing a new remedy too quickly might not be a good idea.

Repeat the Arg-nit 1M first, making sure that you do this by sucussing (hitting) the bottle firmly twice, and diluting into water - keep everything the same as before.

This is always a lesson in patience for me around remedy reactions.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Plz just tell me how to dilute it correctly. Actually, I have the medicine in a small white bottle with a cap and with all the pellets in it with some kind of liquid in it. I guess it is water but I'm not sure. So I should just take out a pellet without touching, using the cap of the bottle and dissolve it in 200 ml of water and take a tbsp. from it, right? Should I dissolve one pellet in a plastic bottle so as to succuss it well and shake vigorously before taking a tbsp.?
Sorry for the lack of knowledge. Actually, last time I took the dose by dissolving it in a small cap but no succussion was done by me.
Thanks.

anonymous_coward last decade
Or should I dissolve 3-4 pellets instead of 1? What's the prime difference?
Thanks again.
