Cygnus Cygnus:

SWAN (words)

Dance

Space

Elegance

Calm

Trust

Love

Infidelity

Illegitimate

Alone

Pressurized

Girls treated differently

Rape

SWAN(theme)

The swan is looking for the ideal love & passion that can make him free from the boundaries of self , instead finds himself trapped in a compromise of unfulfilled sexuality, unfulfilled love & a loss of boundaries where he finds himself forced to do all he does not want.

This compromise is out of duty & care for the children.

They long for love & hence infidelity & guilt are the conflicts that result .

Instead of the freedom & pure love which would give him an unbounded flight to new & powerful heights . He finds himself sucked powerlessly down into the dirty world of exploitation of the purity of love & sex ,world of rape, paedophilia & brutality.

From this he yearns for the flight of escape.

Dance is their expression of the freedom ,detachment & lightness.

Is your homoeopath just going through Bird remedies? That is an odd way to be using the Sensation method - perhaps they are too attached to the idea (not being objective as a homoeopath should)?

That is the wrong way to be prescribing. Attachment to specific remedies or groups of remedies is a kind of prejudice that can cause incorrect prescriptions. One has to be completely open-minded when choosing a remedy. The moment a homoeopath says they are choosing a remedy on the basis of just being 'interested or excited', they are admitting to being biased and in 99% of such prescriptions they will fail.

The Sensation method is extremely vulnerable to prescriber bias, and it seems unfortunately that many homoeopaths are forgetting the basic rules when trying to apply it. I have seen it happen a lot. A homoeopath must be unprejudiced and unattached to their own desires, ideas, beliefs, when prescribing a medicine with any method.

The themes found in the Bird group are also found in the Snake group, the Hamamelididae plant group, the Gases, and the entire Sea animal group - so a lot of other remedies.

I have found Sensation to be extremely useful, especially in those cases where traditional prescribing has been tried over and over and the case doesn't permanently improve. However, it does not ask people to forget all the previous principles and knowledge. In fact, only a homoeopath with a good grounding in the philosophy will be able to use it successfully. It is not an 'alternative' form of homoeopathy - it requires strict adherence to the basics to work well and create genuine cure, just like any homoeopathic method does.

It would be interesting to know why he thinks that. Frankly, I am never certain of anything until I see it work. We are just human, and prone to errors like anyone else. You have to allow for being wrong.

Besides that, people can actually benefit from remedies from different kingdoms and groups. There are analogies for every remedy. Our understanding now is that there is a central state, with particular themes, and at anytime in a person's life those themes will be displayed in different ways (and match different remedies). So you might need a bird remedy, a lily remedy, a phosphoric remedy over a long period of time, all of which will share common elements in your case.

You are right - freedom and trapped are not specific to birds, but most animals, and in fact to many other groups of remedies. One could argue that desire for freedom is actually a healthy feeling, not a disease at all. One needs to be careful when determining what is disease and what is not. Treat the wrong thing, and you will head off down completely the wrong path. Dr. Hahnemann said one of the main jobs of the homoeopath was to determine what needs to be cured. Fail there, and the whole case fails.
