swallowing difficulty

My son is 15 and has been having trouble swallowing foods. This started about a year ago, a month before he was to start high school. He was very anxious and nervous about making friends in high school. He has always been an anxious kid, worrisome and more comfortable at home than in social situations. He has trouble swallowing all foods, except ice cream, milk shakes, juice, cereal and most liquids (although he does occasionally have trouble swallowing liquids too). His favorite foods used to be steak, hamburgers, pizza and he was never to fond of fruits or vegetables. He is better in the morning and the problem gets worse at each meal after that, with dinner being the most troublesome. He also suffers from chest pains, which seem to be gas. He suffers from constipation, however, he can also have bouts of diarrhea. He is often tired and sleeps about 12 hours each night. He has lost about 15 pounds over the past year. He had been on a constitutional remedy (bufo Rana) for about 2 years. It helped him in many ways, but when the swallowing problem came along, it didn't touch that. We tried Iodium, and this helped for a while (about 4 months) but no longer works. We have tried Uranium, Plutonium which did nothing. We have tried herbal remedies (Velerian, Licorice, Cat's skull), Magnesium. All without much change. Any suggestions?
