Can I take coffee while in treatment ?
Hi all,I am new here. I have been taking Kalium Muriaticum 200 CH to treat an ear problem, but the results achieved so far are disapointing, after more than one year.
Please, is it true that I can`t take coffee while in treatment ? And whata bout other substances, like alcohol and red meat for example ?
Thanks so much,
Mongo

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Theoretically all stimulants should be avoided to get best results from the remedy. But it is also equally true that no level of restrictions may help if the right remedy is not selected.

Homoeopathic medicines will work regardless of coffee intake, unless the patient is very sensitive to coffee (so makes themselves constantly sick with it).
Was Kali-mur prescribed on the whole case taking into account other problems, mentals, emotionals etc or just given for the ear symptoms?

Thanks for the reply, yes, medicine was prescribed based on the whole body analysis, but mainly focused on the ear problem.
How long should it have taken to achieve any results ?
Thanks,

A correctly chosen medicine will start to have an effect within a few days. Positive healing effects should be seen by the end of the first week if not sooner. How long it takes to get total cure depends on many individual factors. If you have been on the same remedy for weeks or even months with no substantial positive changes, then you are on the wrong remedy.
