Problem in scalp

Hello sir, I am a 38 year old indian male with medium built. I am suffering from a strange problem related to the skin of my head. If I shampoo (Livon/pantene) my hair in morning, my hair become stiff and so oily by evening that one may think I soaked them in oil. In this condition, I feel intense pain in the roots of my hair even it hurts when I simply touch them. I have to shampoo daily to avoid this pain and oiliness. It started in July 2007 when I went to korea for job. I remained there for one and a half year and then came back to India. But the problem could not get solved. During this short period of 4 years my thick and dense hair are gone and the skin beneath my hair is easily visible. If my hair keep falling at the present rate, I feel within 2-3 months I will be completely bald.
Please note that I use to have a sound sleep. In 2005, I suffered from TB infection and took 9 month course as suggested by the doctor.

Please suggest the medicines which I can directly purchase from the market and these should not affect harmonal balance in my body.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have a similar issue with my head, and have found an herbal way to atleast keep it manigable (atleast until I have a true solution to remove the problem). I figured it might help you for now as well. Firstly, the more you shampoo, the more oily your hair will be. Try to reduce this to once everyother day (if its too oily to go out using baby powder in the hair kinda helps to soak up the oil and lets you get by a bit. Also, try using cool (not cold) water to wash your hair, so you don't stimulate the scalp, causing more oil to be produced. I found that soaking my head in water (ie in a bath) with tea tree oil in it really REALLY helps. If you don't have access to a bath, I also found in a pinch adding a few drops of tea tree oil to the shampoo really helps. I really hope this helps you atleast a bit
