Help baby with acid reflux
My 10 month old son has acid reflux. He does not have it bad although. He spits up the most after he has had milk. He is currently on goat's milk. His symptoms:
Burping & belching usually an hour after eating. Sometimes cranky. Runny nose (clear), chest congestion, cough (sometimes).
The reflux doesn't seem to bother him. He sleeps fine. Its just a mess. He is currently on the medication Reglan for the reflux. It seems to be helping, but it makes him very tired and I believe the side effects of Reglan are bad. I don't like having to put him on a prescription. Is there any alternatives?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have treated acid reflux conditions successfully in adults but have no experience in treating babies with the same condition.
The remedy that I have used in all cases is the Biochemic salt Natrum Phosphoricum 6x also commonly known as Nat Phos 6x which is Sodium Phosphate. At 6x potency it is 1/1 millionth of the original salt and I believe that it should be absolutely safe to be used by a baby.
The standard dose for adults is 2 tablets taken after a meal but if you decide to use it for your baby I would recommend a dosage of just half a tablet after food. You can then watch the reaction and post the reaction on this forum or contact me directly by email at

Thank you!

The liquid remedy in Ethanol will not have the same desired effect as the triturated salt Nat Phos 6x which is always sold in tablet form.
You can dissolve half a tablet in a teaspoonful of water and give it to your baby. If you find that it does not have the desired effect, you may increase the dose to 1 tablet in water after starting on half to check for any adverse reaction which I doubt will occur.
