I would suggest starting with Silicea 200c. The method of administering the remedy is as follows.

INSTRUCTONS FOR SPLIT DOSING

Firstly, you need to create a separate dosing bottle. Get a bottle with a dropper, 15-30mls in size, and fill it with a mixture of water and alcohol (5 parts to 1 part). Dissolve 2-4 granules or 2-4 drops of the medicine you bought from the pharmacy into this mixture. Your doses will be made from this bottle.

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of your hand, or another elastic surface like a book. It should be a firm hit not a tap. 2 hits is enough to begin with, and should not be increased unless it is clear that it is needed. The water in this bottle will 'remember' the number of times you have hit it, so that subsequent doses will be stronger (necessary to overcoming the resistance of your disease).

Place 1 drop into an amount of water - I may start with anything from 1/4-1 full cup (62ml-250ml) depending on the sensitivity of the patient. Stir thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon into the mouth. Throw the rest of the cup away.

This is one dose. Repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle.

Each step of this process can be adjusted to reduced aggravation or to increase the effect of the medicine. In order to be able to do this, it is important to measure each step (count the hits, the drops, measure the water etc).

Start with 2 pillules or drops into the dosing bottle. Hit twice, 1 drop into 1/4 cup of water (62mls), stir and take one teaspoon into the mouth. Do this once only, as a test dose, and we will assess what has happened after about a week.

Also, you do not need to have everything that a remedy is capable of producing. In fact it is impossible for you to have everything. That essay I presented was based on 20 cured cases of Silicea - 20 different people.

Homoeopathy works on the principle of similarity, not sameness. The remedy only needs to be able to produce a state that is 'like' yours to cure it, not the exact same state (which is impossible).

Medicinal alcohol should be available (ethanol). Without alcohol, the water in the dosing bottle will not hold the charge of the remedy very long. This can create problems for long-term use, as the same bottle and water needs to be reused (the water remembers the number of times it is hit, and the alcohol preserves that memory) but in the short term, you can simply use water on its own.

Try if you can to get hold of medicinal alcohol for subsequent doses.

Complementaries don't work that way unfortunately.

I will look over the case again to see what step we should take next.

So the Silicea has helped then? Ok we need to stick with it.

You will be cured when there are no more symptoms or problems left. Relapse is always a possibility, but that can be addressed as it happens.

It appears that you may have been going through an aggravation. It is important not to react to an aggravation as if it is a problem to be medicated, as afterwards you should see improvement (which has happened this time).

It is prudent to wait and observe yourself for awhile now, since a remedy can continue to work for weeks or even months after the dose.

It is better to take repeat doses only after I assess the case, as taking them too soon, or if you need another remedy, can actually cause a slide backwards.

It will take several months and probably several doses of Silicea, including using higher potencies, before you are fully well. Your case may also change enough to require a new medicine, although which one is not predictable at this early stage.

For the moment, you have repeated your dose, so we need to wait a few weeks to see how things go. The first dose took some time to begin to show its positive effect so it is important not to move too fast.

It has been awhile since that last dose, so I would say yes it is appropriate to repeat the remedy once.

Hmmm...Ok repeat the remedy again to see if it resolves the headaches.

If not we will need to do a more complete assessment.

Please rewrite that list of symptoms for me, and next to each one put Better, Worse, Same or New Symptom.

If you write better or worse, please put a percentage to show how much.

I am not sure what happened here. Either we repeated the remedy too soon, or Silicea was only a partial similar which eventually failed. In that case a new remedy must be found.
