Lactose Intolerance

Hello,
My kid is suffering from Lactose Intolerance, I think. The symptoms are like this - does'nt sleep during night, keeps crying and usually sleeps around 3 - 4 AM, moves his legs and arms very fast and also stiffens it often. He also passes stools frequently in bits and pieces. He is 7 weeks old and has been the same way. I tried to put Nux Vomica 30 for 15 days after consulting a Homeopath and stopped it later. I apply some herbal compresses as I am Practising Naturopathic Physician, somedays, it gives him relief and sleeps well, some days he does'nt. My pediatrician feels it is lactose intolerance which is very mild. I am looking for some homeopathic remedy which can help my kid from all these symptoms. One more finding is that on palpation his abdomen is tender sometimes with bloated feeling. Looking forward for a reply

Arnica 6c should help your baby to sleep but it cannot help his Lactose Intolerance problem.

I am tempted to suggest that you use Nat Phos 6x (Biochemic) but I have never used it for babies . This remedy works by promoting peristalysis in the gut and theoretically it should help your baby. I do not think that it can do any harm if just half tablet is dissolved in water and given after a feed but the decision is yours.
