infant reflux,allergies,&lactose intolerance
Hi,I have a 7 mo. infant who is growing well, but has some digestive issues. There seems to always be congestion around nose and eyes. (The baby is breastfed, so I am on elimination diet to try and help as much as possible.) There is also some lactose intolerance-sometimes gassy, very rarely tummy rumbles, and stools are usually loose-normal breastmilk color. We had, until recently an issue with thrush, but after adjustment at chiropractic care, thrush finally went away. The baby usually nurses well, but will not eat solids, disposition is happy, when these digestive troubles are not giving problems) has trouble sleeping naps in day-time, and has dark circles under eyes-I think this may be partly due to allergies) The reflux is better than it used to be-gradually outgrowing, but still sometimes chokes during feeding, and also often there are episodes of spitting up, and the sound like something stuck in the throat. I wonder if there are homeopathic remedies someone could reccomend to help with these issues. One last note: baby has a very strong dairy allergy-this tends to run in family. Any help given would be greatly appreciated-thank you-this site is wonderful!

I have not yet heard from anyone for help-& am still wondering if there are any helps for reflux in an infant. Some of the digestion issues seem better now-the lactose intolerance problem has eased. Am still dealing very much with the reflux problem, and know it is causing baby to have less appetite, which in turn has slowed growth. Allopathic doctors say growth is fine, but I know from my other babies it should be much better. I am new to homeopathy, & although I did try the Remedy Finder, was not able to determine which to try. If anyone can help with this, I would greatly appreciate it, as I do not want to use medicine if at all possible. Also, there are still some signs of the dairy allergy, but not as bad as before.

I have heard of using fig tree extract. We just got some at a homeopathic pharmacy and tried it for the first time tonight. It works great!!!!!!! I am up monitering, but for the first time, baby is sleeping well!!! Good luck.
