9 month old baby & severe constipation
Hi All,I have a 9 month old who has chronic constipation. She poos only every couple of days (sometimes up to 2 weeks). She bleeds when she poos and cries horribly. Can someone help with a remedy which will cure this. It is awful to see a baby scream in this way. Otherwise she is a happy chubby baby. She doesn't drink very much from a cup. She has always been breastfed and despite this is more on the side of constipation. She doesn't crawl as yet. Even though she was 9 months on the 26th September. Please help. Desperately trying to get things sorted. x

2. Sweating affects which part more..?
3. What is the color of bowel
4. is the first part of faces are hard then later part is soft..?
5. From how long she is suffering from constipation..?
With above answer we can think on medicine.

She gets really hot when she's crying and trying to poo. Probably around her head area. It's all really hot when she cries. Otherwise she doesn't really perspire. I think under her arms as it used to smell quite sour under there.
Her poo is dark.
No it comes out as one hard and ball shape which is too big for her to pass. Very seldom does she have a normal shaped poo which is alright for her size and age. They are just huge and the wrong shape and they are too hard for her to pass. Because she is so constipated, her bowel is becoming weak and she can't push it out.
None of the poo is soft.
She's always been a constipated baby (since she was born). But its got worse since she started solids at 6 months.
Please help.

I have to buy the rememdies and the shops aren't open today... so I'll buy the rememdies tomorrow and then keep you updated from Tuesday. Thanks

The homeopathy hasn't been given for a week yet but a short update as promised.... My baby has poo'd every day :). She hasn't cried and there isn't any blood. It is still roundish and harder than I think it should be but there seems to be improvement. I will continue to give medication unless someone tells me otherwise?

She has for the last two days done normal poos. This could be because she is not very well and this is her version of looser stools. I'll keep you updated over the next few days.

Hi,
Apologies for the delay. We have had a week of illness well 2 illnesses back to back so there is nothing to feedback. We need to start this again. There was vomitting and the poo returned to balls.
They're still coughing but better. I'll start the remedies again tonight.
