Diarrhoea
Have a friend who gets diarrhoea while eating, has been going on for a while. Sometimes blood. Tall dark haired male, solid build, both parents have had cancer. He has to have cold room to sleep in, aversion to coffee. Works in office. Quiet type.thanks in advance,

does he only get it while eating? at all meals? how much blood? how frequent?

If he hasn't already had a proctology exam, he should do so ASAP. With cancer in the family, this could be very serious indeed. Blood in the stool is NOT a good sign.

Hi Erika,
yes apparently he only gets this problem while eating, has to be careful when out as to not bring it on. It happens after every meal.
He is averse to cold drinks, better with warm drinks, and cool rooms. Worse in a warm room. Likes steak, bread, chocolate.
Gets a lot of cramping, only sometimes blood, a little.
Sleeps on right side.
Has runny nose, sinus.
Has had kidney stones.
Headaches on going to sleep, right sided.
Has been to the doctor many times, taken many things, to no avail.
The mother had breast cancer, not sure what the father had but he died.
He is easy going guy, 6'2".

It is possible the blood in stool is haemorroidal.
Apparently has had the diarrhea thing for years - over 10, is a very strong kinda guy.

The hemorroidal thing does not seem to worry him much, was a while ago, but the diarrheoa really affects his life. Not sure about whether he tries to avoid wheat, I don't think he eats that much of it. Seems to have a rather sedentary life, sits all day at work then relaxes at home. Likes his sweets, steak.
He cannot remember how it all started long ago, but has been married twice, possibly something in the first marriage that got it going.
I was wondering about carbo veg?

diarrhoea while eating = FERR., crot-t., kali-phos., ars.alb., chin., podo., puls., rad-br., trom.,
if it is diarrhoea after eating other remedies may be indicated.
carbo-veg may also help, if digestion and general circulation etc. is very sluggish.
china is very indicated if there has been a lot of this going on as he will have lost a lot of fluid.
