Sudden Acute Laryngitis
Was just getting over a cold. Feeling fine.Had workers in my home rebuilding a mica cabinet. May have inhaled some of the wood and mica dust in the house during the 8 hours the workers were working. Toward the end of the day, had a little hoarseness, but within a few hours of the onset, it progressed to severe acute laryngitis with tightness in the throat, swelling of the sinus, inability to breathe through the nose and swelling of the throat. Did saline washes, saline gargles, used Nasonex and inhaled steam with clove in it. Noticed the sinus mucus was turning green...so I took Clarithromycin 500 mg as I thought it might be a sinus infection. Late last night, I read my homeopathy first aid book and it recommended use of Kali Mur 6x, alternating with with Ferrum Phos 6x. Took 2 does each during the night. Some or all of the attempted treatments helped a little which enabled me to suffer through the night. Was able to sleep 2 hours, but woke up with sticky watery eyes, dry cough and thick green mucus (post nasal drip) that I have been able to cough up after saline nasal rinses. Unable to cough up anything from the throat or chest area. Also I am completely unable to talk. Please help!!!
By the way, I am allergic to penicillin, mold and mildew....and there may have been some mold or mildew in the dust from the kitchen cabinet that was being repaired/replaced.

Thanks...will take the remedy and report back.
Do you have any recommendations for dissolving a 1.1 cm cholesterol gallbladder stone. Another poster recommended Nat sulph 30c two doses - one in the morning and one at night for 7 days....but asked me to tell him the size, because I would need other meds if the stone was large. I reported back the size, but haven't received a response yet.

R.P. Tamhankar, Sorry for the delay in responding, but had many family crisis during December and Early January to tend to and no time to take care of myself. I have Chelidonium M pellets, but cannot find Chelidonium Q tincture locally. Is it imperative that I use the tincture? If not, is there a substitute strength in pellet form that I could use in its place?
tess1253 last decade
Does this mean that the Chelidonium ';M' strength pellets will work? Do I mix them in water or take them whole under the tongue? Can you give me specific directions on how to prepare the chelidonium in water (if necessary) and how many drops to take once prepared. Sorry for being so ignorant about this, but I have no experience with this, especially tinctures. I do not know what 'mother tincture' means.
