Chronic Acne & Hair LossHi!
I am 28 years old, female, and have had acne on the cheek area of the face for about 8 years.
Dermatologists prescribed antibiotics several times , which helped but the acne kept coming back. This last year, after having done lazer hair removal therapy, my acne condition worsened, spreaded out to my jaw line and neck, leaving deep scarring.
I also have hair loss problems (since my teenage years) are quire severe.
I also get headaches which are related to backaches and muscle aches at the back of the neck.
In the past I have taken long term medication: Thyroxin for nearly 10 years, a small dose of B-blockers for 5 years, and antibiotics, as well as cold and flu short term medication about once a year.
3 months ago I visited a homeopathy doctor, who has prescribed Nat Mur, but I have not yet had much results.

I'm now 19 and I suffered a lot from acne during my teenage years. Now the acne has stopped but the scars remain.
Theres a lot of medicines for acne but very few actually work in my experience. Home remedies atleast help. For one thing I cut back on sodas...especially cola drinks. They made me break out in pimples. Also use clearasil face wash it gently uses salicylic acid. Clean and clear sucks....did nothing for me. Try and get a little more sleep every day...even half an hour helps. Cut back on oily stuff just a little bit and see if it helps.
As far as the hair is concerned...I have had no luck. My hair is thinning and I dont know why...all I know is I tried Natrum Mur...didnt help me. Either you need a much higher dose or its the wrong drug. I'm on acid phos...hopefully it'll help.
Lastly I know its frustrating but hang in there.
