Attn: Joe De Livera, infant acid reflux

Dear Joe, my son who is 7 weeks old was diagnosed with acid reflux, our pedi prescribed us Zantac but it didn't help, I came across the post about Nat. Phos. 6x and that it can help to get rid of GERD, the only problem is the dosage, my son is 9lbs 13oz... I inderstand I need to give it to him after every feed, dissolved in water, thank you so much in advance

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can give him just half a tablet of Nat Phos 6x dissolved in a teaspoonful of milk or water immediately after a feed and observe his response.

Nat Phos 6x is absolutely safe to be used and it works by promoting peristalsis thereby preventing the build up of gastric juice and acid.

I am indeed very surprised that your doctor has prescribed Zantac which is a PPI drug and has been proved to be dangerous for long time use in adults. Its effect on babies can be considered as even more dangerous than on adults. Check Google for 'The danger of using PPI drugs' to read all about the after effects.

You should discover that he will not require it after using it for a couple of days after it has stabilized his digestive process.

You will stop the dose when he shows that he does not need it anymore.

Report progress in 48 hours after the first dose.
