Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you are ill!! Please don't bother with trying to find another remedy for my son until you are feeling better. I already gave another dose of the Cham, so I will just keep updating as I have been so that we have a record for when you are better. I hope you feel better soon.

Night 1 after 3rd dose of Cham 200c: pretty much the same. Frequent waking, and a little bit of flailing and talking.

I've also noticed over the last week that he is throwing himself on the floor to cry when he doesn't get his way. I think he used to do this sometimes, but not any time in the last few months. He is doing this several times each day, now.

Once again, please don't try working on this case until you are feeling better. I'm just going to keep posting daily to help me keep track.

Night 2 after 3rd dose of Cham 200c: pretty much the same.

During the day, he started behaving very grouchy and also started to once again complain about things hurting (such as putting on his diaper and pants). Since you said Cham is probably not the right remedy for him, I figured we may as well skip the aggravation (of things hurting disproportionately), so I gave him one dose of Puls 200c (dissolved in water, and then a drop of that into more water) to antidote the Cham.

Night 1 after antidoting with Pukls: He slept absolutely awful. Waking much more frequently, espeically the first half of the night. Flailing and talking lots.

Once again, please don't work on this case until you are feeling better!

Night 2 after Puls antidote: slept for 4hours straight at beginning of night. Then wakeful for an hour or so, and woke up crying loud (which is unusual for him). Then slept quietly with no flailing for remainder of night, waking every 1-2hours.

I hope you are seeing improvement in your illness, and please don't think about this case until you are well. I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you.

The last few nights have been: waking every 1-2 hours (just as he did before we started the homeopathic treatment). But he is still seeming to flail and talk less while he is asleep than he did before the Cham, so that seems to be holding.

I hope you are recovering from your illness!

Sarah3NN last decade
Still waking every 1-2 hours. Last night he was talking alot in his sleep as well.

Ok let's try a different approach.

Get hold of Nat-mur 200c instead. Just give him one dose as normal.

Okay, I just ordered it. THANK YOU! I hope you are feeling better!

Should I toss out the dosing bottle of Cham?

Sarah3NN last decade
No you never know if you might need that again. It should remain fresh enough for about 4 months.

I'm still waiting for the Nat Mur to arrive. But just so I can keep track, the last couple nights have been worse than usual. Waking even more frequently during the first half of the night (probably every 20-30 min). Talking a bit in his sleep, too.

Naps the last couple days have also been poor with frequent wakings.

I'll let you know when I give the first dose of Nat Mur.

Okay, I gave him the first dose of the Nat Mur 200c yesterday evening. One drop from a dosing bottle, two taps, into 1/2 cup water.

Night 1: slept a bit better, no talking in his sleep and not much moving around. Still woke every 1-2 hours. This is actually quite good since he is finally getting 4 teeth to erupt through the gums this week.

Just for the record, his eczema has been back for a little while. Not very bad, but still present on the back of his thighs.

I'll update again tomorrow.

The sleep issue should cure first. The skin may aggravate as part of the direction of cure (complaints moving from within outwards) so I would not get too concerned if that happens.

Night 2 after Nat Mur 200c: woke more frequently than normal. Talking and moving in sleep as well. Wakeful in the middle of the night.

The latter part of today, I think he was aggravating as he was very grumpy. Throwing himself on the floor and crying lots, refusing any sympathy or comfort, and wanting to nurse lots. This could also be related to teething (two teeth pushing through the gums today), but his behavior seemed a bit different than I've seen before.

Thankfully, we're almost done with this bout of teething and then we can really see well what he's doing.

I'll update again tomorrow.

Sarah3NN last decade
You may need to repeat the remedy more often during teething, as it is a kind of acute.

Night 3: still woke frequently, but didn't talk or move around while asleep.

I'll update again tomorrow.

Night 4: I think he may have woke less frequently (I was so tired that I'm not 100% sure). He was not talking or flailing in his sleep. He was a little more wakeful towards morning.

We are still on track in terms of the reaction. Aggravtion on the 2nd day, then some improvement following. Hopefully the improvement will continue, and if not we will repeat the remedy. It is probably best to wait at least 7 days before deciding to do that.

Thanks for giving me some understanding of how/when we will want to repeat the remedy!

Night 5: I *think* he still woke frequently (every 1-2 hours), but no talking or flailing. He also slept in much later than normal this morning (possibly because his nap was cut short yesterday, but he has never slept so late before).

I'll update again tomorrow.

Night 6: he slept very poorly. Waking very often, talking/moving in his sleep, and wakeful in the middle of the night.

Should I repeat the remedy today, or wait?

Sarah3NN last decade
He is doing alot of going back and forth. This is something I call the 'wobble' effect (lol). When the vital force is still struggling to cure the complaint, you will see advances and then retreats and advances again.

Yes I think we should repeat the remedy. Use a little more water - how much did you use last time?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ha, the wobble effect. What a scientific name ;)

Okay, I will give him another dose. Last time I used 1/2 cup of water, so this time I will use 1 cup.

Thank you, and I'll update again tomorrow.

I haven't really seen a proper name given to it, so that is what I came up with in my first year of practice. It has stuck with me lol.

Yes using a full cup is a good idea.

Night 1 after 2nd dose of Nat Mur: I think he woke less frequently during first half of the night. Then he was wakeful for a while, but finally went back to sleep. Throughout the night, he was not talking/flailing in his sleep.

I'll update again tomorrow.

Night 2: He slept for 4 hours straight! Then he was wakeful for a little while, and then went into a fitful sleep (flailing and talking, culminating in waking up crying hard, which is unusual for him). Then he woke frequently the remainder of the night, but was fairly quiet and still.

I'll update again tomorrow.

Sarah3NN last decade
Night 3: He woke frequently, and also had some talking/flailing.

Sounds the the 'wobble' effect is still in full action!

I'll update again tomorrow.

Sarah3NN last decade
Night 4: he woke frequently once again. Also talked some in his sleep. Some of this could have been my fault since I was awake for many hours during the night reading.

(That reminds me, do you have the time/energy to take my case? If so, I'll write it up and start a new thread on the forum.)

Also, am I giving you enough info? Would it help to have any pics/videos of him, or is there anything else I can do to make it easier for you?
