Good Morning Dr Khan,
I took Silicea 6X, 4 pills nicely dissolved in 1/4 cup of mineral water, 3 times a day, for 5 days in May as advised by you.The discharge had stopped for some time time but it started again. However after taking Berberis Vulgaris 1X for four days there is no discharge. The color of pus was slightly brown since it was mixed with some blood as well.

Hi all,
Like many I am suffering from these and its becoming depressing. I am 25 I had my first ocurance about a year and a half ago. It became large/ clogged and a doctor diagnosed as bartholins and i was given antibiotics which of course did nothing. it stayed the size of a small grape for several months, until finally it became infected. I was in so much pain I couldn't walk. I eventually after so many days was curled in a ball crying for over 24 hours and my boyfriend finally took me to the ER. It had grown to the size of a garden tomato. of course it was painfully lanced with no numbing medication. Boy did that make a mess. Went to the Gyno the next day and they said...NEVER GO TO THE ER. well ok, it was the weekend! So they said if it came back they could put in the words catheter. It did within a month, of course on the weekend again, to the point where i Couldn't walk. But then it burst overnight on its own. It swelled up repeatedly but not yet as bad over the past year. I went back to the gyno once and they said there was nothing they could do because it wasn't big enough to perform any surgery. Great. So This week it has swelled up and is a sore again. Been doing hot baths. I have pain in my lower back on that side as well (just like i did before. I think its from tensing up)But i can still walk so its not nearly as bad yet. I have had A LOT of discharge but its all clear or white and smells normal. Just literally changing panties 3x a day bc thats just yucky. But I dont want it to get infected and have to be burst again because I no longer have insurance!
SO. I was considering trying the silicea treatment. What is the difference between silica and silicea? is it the same as the stuff they sell to keep moisture out of things?
Should I do the same '6x' (what does that even mean? just the strength? ) treatment that others are suggested? Or no since I dont know if mine is infected yet?
I was reading some people saying these were caused by stress. I definately think that is true because ive been very very stressed out the past couple weeks. I have been very tired and had a nervous stomach, which I will also attribute to being stressed and having 0 time to relax over the past month.

9. List of your complaints: bartholins cyst swelling is my only issue really. I have allergies but used to that.
10. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint. Bartholins cyst off & on for a year and a half, Allergies sicne i was 13.

13. Thirst: Normal. I drink water and juice only usually. No pop, rarely tea.

I used to take Panethinic Acid, B6 & vit C for my allergies when i was in jr high bc i was always sick. I still take VIT C in the winter as I'm sensitive to getting tonsilitis & broncitis.

Hello again Dr. Khan,
I am reporting back on my current state with this cyst. I took the Alumen 4x 2 pills dissolved 3 times a day for 4 days (on the 4th day I ran out and will need to order more if that is what you recommend). The pus is still the same color yellowish green w a foul odor except now it is tinged with blood (I am guessing it is blood) so there is a little bit of pinkish brown in the mix. I soaked a long while in a bath tonight and squeezed on the cyst to get some of the contents out. It was probably about the size of a grape and now after releasing the pus it just a bit swollen but more like the size of a pea. I am wondering if I should be leaving it alone? Do you recommend baths and trying to get the contents out? If so how often? I am feeling discouraged again as this problem is still here. I am also determined to do anything and everything in my power to rid my body of this cyst! Please advise again and in the meantime I will try to remain positive.

Thank you, I will not give up hope. I have been looking for Berberis Vulgaris 1X and cannot locate it locally. I was told the lowest dose would be 6c. I can order online from Hylands but this in tablet form. Would Berberis Vulgaris 1X in tablet form be acceptable?

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with a Bartholin cyst about the size of a large grape. There is no pain, and it is not infected. It is more embarrassing than anything due to its size. Would you recommend Silicea 6x as treatment? I took two doses of 4 pills today, but am worried about side effects. Thank you.

3 x's a day?? for berberis vulgaris 6X liquid?

Dr. Khan,
I have taken Berberis Vulgaris 6X for 3 days 4 drops in mineral water.
The cyst is now bigger and uncomfortable. I am refraining from trying to get any thing to come out of it as you suggest it will not heal if I do?
The pus is a mucous like yellow white.
I wanted to know if you might suggest the Silicea 6X again? It seemed to help a little. In the meantime I will continue to pray that my body heal itself.
