3 year old tooth decay. Please help!My son turns 3 tomorrow & his his teeth are in bad shape. There are black spots on several of his molars & his right side incisor appears to be 'chipping' more & more. He has no sensitivity on any of his teeth. I brush his teeth twice daily & have since he first got teeth. He still nurses. He is very sensitive and deathly afraid of doctors. I haven't had him to a dentist because of his fear but my sister in law is a hygentist & says most dentists will recommend oral surgery & caps. I really don't want to put my son thru all that trauma & exposure to anesthesia if at all avoidable. My son is very active, extremely shy around new people but outgoing around those he knows. He hates wind & is bothered by light at times. He had low iron levels a year ago & was on iron supp for 6 months.
Thank you for any advice & help you could offer.
