6 year old with chronic cough
My son is 6 years old and has had a chronic cough from October - May since he was 2. He definitely has seasonal allergies like hayfever, but his hayfever remedy does not rectify the cough. This cough will have no other symptoms, usually start at night after he goes to bed. It is a very barky, persistent thing. It also seems like he will have it for two weeks, it will disappear for two and then come right back. Is it allergies, asthma, food allergy...I need help!sdhvalpo on 2012-05-12

Thank you for your input, I have had him on the Spongia Tosta for 8 days and although I feel the cough is a little better, it is still persistent. It is definitely worse in the morning and upon laying down at night, after dairy products and being outside. Any suggestions?

In addition to Spongia Tosta-30, Pl give him one dose of 6 pills of Drosera-30 at bedtime every day.

If you cut fairy Out It will probably rectify it is more than likely a dairy allergy, possibly wheat too!

I completely agree with pixie wood. Kids are increasinly becoming allergic to Milk and Wheat recently.
Please stop milk and then after a few days stop any thing made of wheat. Your child will most likely be alright with these two.
To rebuilt the gut and make the little one to digest milk and wheat, I have a very proven protocol and you can take for the lasting cure. However the first step now is to stop milk and what (GFCF) and get rid of cough.

Both my kids are intolerant to milk and wheat and so are thousands of others and when I see kids suffering from it whether it's asthma eczema or coughs I get so sad as the parents are totally blind to this and even if you tell them they either don't listen or cannot be bothered to try it out, it's very hard stopping these foods but also so so worth it and you go to a Dr and they may tell the parent different and if course to them the Dr is always right, I wish you luck though and it's truly worth trying .

I am glad you are one of the few who appreciates the benefit of GFCF. If you are interested, I can help your kids to tolerate milk and wheat (pl start a new threat and send me an email directly). After this, you can either continue to stop giving such food or give them with so after effects.

I could not find Drosera anywhere without ordering it...the herbalist at my local health food store told me to start antimonium tart. 30x. Would you agree?

After 8 days on the Drosera and Spongia, his cough is significantly better...what do you think his ailment is? Should I continue this treatment? When his cough comes back how long should I keep him on the regimen?

He has completed the treatment with Drosera and Spongia and the cough appears to be gone. Can you tell me what you think the issue is? How often should I use this remedy and for what period of time? I appreciate your feed back. I would really like to know what you think the underlying cause is.

Homeopathy does not go into cuase of the illness rather symptoms displayed by the body. It is always taken a disturnbance in our vital force (soul).
