tooth decayMy 1.5 year old has been diagnosed by his dentist with 'baby bottle tooth decay' the dentist says that his teeth are favoring demineralization but dont have any cavities yet.
He is breastfed and has never had a bottle but I was told that breastmilk can cause this also. I noticed the tooth decay came around the time he started drinking pasturized milk more regularly but I am not positive about the connection. I took away the milk and started giving filtered water with added ionic minerals along with a a fermented cod liver oil/butter oil supplement, and a tablespoon of virgin coconut oil a day. I have been doing this for about 2 months along with brushing his teeth twice a day and have not seen an improvement but it has not gotten worse either.
The decay is mostly on his top front 4 teeth near the gums on his top fron two. On one tooth it is completely covered but more prominent near the gums with all. It is grey/brown colored. On his back teeth there is some light brown/yellow discoloration. It doesnt come off with brushing but it has the appearance of plaque or leftover food that should come off easily- but doesnt.
My son has never had vaccinations or flouride. His personality is very outgoing. He wants to be the center of attention and always needs to be doing something entertaining. He loves being outside and could be outside all day without getting upset. When he is inside or bored he gets upset and yells or does this for attention. He understands the word 'no' but will not listen. He does not take directions well from my husband or I and will insist on doing what he wants when he wants. He is extremely high willed and will not give up untill he gets his way.
We tried Chamomilla 200c in pellets and the wet dose for teething about a year ago but it did not seem to help. When he was 4 months old we gave him kali carb 200c for bronchitus and it worked after 1 dose. I also have tried Cal Flourica 30c and calcarea carbonica 30c 3 pellets 3x a day for a week and did not see any results for each.
His head gets very hot and sweaty when he sleeps. He does not get sick often but when he gets sick he will get extremely high fevers of 103-105.7

Calc Carb is safe to repeat for benefit. Please give another week and repeat once again after a week.
Not getting worse seems a good out come. If you continue to breast feed, you need to take a lot more calcium and make sure they are assimilated. I recommend you to take calc Carb at the same time as your child.

if you are breast feeding, you need to take calcium and fix your calcium assimilation to enrich your milk with calcium. Although a good way is to take a lot of greens, it becomes practically difficult. Yhe closest alternate is to take calcium from algae (Bone strength tablets by New Chapter is the best calcium form in tablets I came across. Please read reviews in amazon)
Mezereum 6c, Calc Carb 30x or 30c and Calc Carb 200c are sufficient as a Homeopathic supplement.
