Persistent cough

My wife has a cough since almost two months. It started with seasonal cold from my daughter ( I guess).we all took antibiotics for a week as it was really bad and are fine now,however, my wife is still coughing. Not as bad but on and off. She is having throat pain as well. Just to let you know that we acquired a pair of cocktails around two months ago. So we are not sure if she is having some allergies.
Please help or should we get her allergy test?
