The ABC Homeopathy Forum

18 month old with virus

My 18 month old has a virus with fever (101)for the last 5 days. We have been to the doctor twice. Her lungs are clear. She does not have any infection in the ear, nose or throat. She has copious clear mucous and a slight cough. She only wants to sleep while breast feeding and does a lot of tossing and turning. I have been giving her tylenol and when her fever breaks, she is a bit fussy, but mostly playful. She sometimes asks for things and changes her mind and then asks for them again.Once 6-8 hours pass, the fever strikes again. I am very concerned. Is there anything I can give her?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give her Nux Vomica 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days.

If this doesn't help Lycopodium 30 in the morning and evening for 2 days.

She is much better. She is still has a runny nose, but fever is gone. Her appetite and attitude are much improved!

Please stop the remedy and wait for few days. The runny nose should resolve on it's own. If it doesn't you may give her the remedy for 2 days.
