constitutional help? cold sores/lip herpes in 6 yr old twins- please help

I am thinking this issue would be best addressed with a constitutional type remedy, but I have no idea where to begin.
i have 6 yr old twin boys, and they have had this problem since they were very young: EVERY time their immune system is down or under attack (getting a cold) they get bad cold sores all over their lips. i have tried l-lysine supplements & lip balm and it does speed up the recovey, I am hoping to end it once and for all.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give them Natrum Mur 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days when they have cold sores.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
