Treatment for allergy and frequent cold
Hi All,I have twin daughters, aged approx. 5 yrs. Both my daughters are very active and bright, the only problem is they very frequently they get catch cold and cough, which takes almost a week to ten days to re-cover, is there any way that we can try to stop this or minimize it somehow.
Another problem is both my daughters are allergic to almost all the items that are preservative based, like juices, jam, ice-cream, coldrink, etc. We tend to avoid these food, but at times it becomes very difficult to convince them to avoid the same as all other children are eating it in front of them and immediately after eating anything like this they start coughing. I have consulted the doctors and they say that these kind of allergy automatically goes away after a period of 6 to 7 yrs.
I wanted to know is there any medication in homeopathy which can help to cure this allergy problem.
It`s not a very major problem, but it is always very hard as a parent to say no to ice-creams, etc. to your kids as this is the only age when you long for these items.
In my family or my spouse family side we didn`t had any history of getting allergic to any food item. Please suggest some

1.whether she prefers warm surroundings i.e. whether she likes to be covered or she prefers cold surroundings and open air.
2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?
3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.
4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems.
6.How is her thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?
Both have opposite nature, one is talkative and other one is naughty, overall very active and playful.
3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.:- No physical problems at all.
4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc: During cold they feel really worse in night especially during sleep, they start coughing very hard and sometimes they puke also.
5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems: Don`t know, pediatric doc. says that twin children immune system is weak for first 5 to 6 yrs. as they are born weak as compared to single child. And from 6 to 7 yr. onward their immune system starts getting stronger, I don`t know whether its right or wrong.

Please give them three doses of Pulsatilla 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 7 days (only 3 doses in 7 days).
day 1 morning
1st dose
day 1 evening

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
If this doesn't help give them Antimonium Tart 200 in the same way and see how that affects in next 7 days.
