Mother's Hypertension and Onset of Vascular Dementia

Dear Dr. Kadwa and Dr. Nawaz Khan,

I had a previous post regarding my mother from a few months ago. Since then we have discovered that the cause of her most recent issues may be the onset of vascular dementia.

Though her overall health is good, she has been and is being treated for hypertension, atrial fibrillation , and diabetes through allopathic medicine.

Three months back, the antihypertensive medications created a situation where her serum sodium went down to 109 mEQ resulting in a hyponatremic seizure. We took her to the hospital where the blood pressure medications were adjusted and the sodium levels were brought up to 132 over a period of a week.

Since then, she had developed symptoms of anxiety, confusion, fixation, and depression. There is also a component of very low self esteem. She still manages periods of clarity. We took her to the hospital again a few days ago and the doctors gave a preliminary diagnosis of vascular dementia.

Please let me know you thoughts and recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Are there any opinions on a remedy for my mother's condition?

I have looked at Baryta Carb and Helleborus Niger as potential candidates. I any one agrees, please let me know your thoughts on the potency and frequency (dosage parameters).
