Cold and Congestion
Hello Doctor -I have a 2 year 1 month old daughter. We have recently been to India on a holiday for 2 months and have now come back to the UK 3 days back. She was absolutely fine in india, however, since 2 days, she has developed runny nose and cold and also i think throat irritation.
The symptoms in the evening are:
Blocked nose and runny nose while awake .
Runny nose when asleep.
Very restless but does not trouble, instead tries to manage it herself
No fever
Irritable sleep
Symptoms in the morning:
Clear mucous except when she wake up in the morning, when the mucous is yellow colour.
Very runny mucous
No loss of appetite
Throat irritation immediately after waking from sleep.
She seems to be struggling a lot and has her nursery to start. Please help.
The weather here is cold, windy ,wet and even snowy.
We have tried to avoid getting her exposed to the weather outside, however, it is not completely unavoidable.
The sudden change in temperature from india to Uk has brought this upon her.
Please suggest what we could do to help her.
Thank you very much.
Regards
Preethi

Please give her Nux Vomica 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days and see how that affects.
If this doesn't help give her Dulcamara 30 in the same way.
