Hypothroidism and PCOS

Hello , I gave birth to a baby in June'12. My periods resumed in Sept'12. They were normal for 4months , that is till dec'12. AFter that I had a delay of 1 month and the next periods arrived in feb'12. they were longer and unsual. Since then I have had no periods. Pregnancy is ruled out. I am obese and have not been successful to reduce my postpartum weight even after 11 months. I don't eat much but reducing weight has always been very difficult for me .Although I did not gain much weight during pregnancy, only 9 kgs.(I had no thyroid during pregnancy).I am having backache and heaviness like feeling in abdomen. Also having upset tummy since last 5-6 days.

Is sepia/Pulsatilla medicine suitable for these issues.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi,

I think it might be best to see a professional and a woman
dr. about these issues. I would suggest checking out an
Indian female homeopath who does online and has a lot
of experience with female hormone problems. www.drsheyra.com.

Try out the lady doctor. Otherwise treat this as a fall back option:

Homeopathic Questionnaire
-------
GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing.

As well as this, please describe any traumatic indicidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like

8. ONLY FOR FEMALES)

I will try to explain things in detail here.
I am a 30 yr old female. I am obsese .I became a mother last year without any complications(got pregnant in second month of trying) . Since the baby weight was a little on the higher side, doctor suggested C-section . Although , my baby was 3.67Kg when born , ultrasound report in the last week indicated 4.02kgs which led to C-section. I had no thyroid problems or diabetes during pregnancy. I have been overweight since the age of 16-17. I had an active and healthy childhood.I have always been an over-sensitive person . I get emotional easily and may weep at a drop of a hat. After pregnancy I seem to be more sensetive. Since I am working women(engineer in corporate world)I face a lot of stress and feel bad many a times to be not able to spend time with my son. I have been anemic (with HB between 9-11) since teens. During pregnancy HB was 11.5.Thyroid tests during pregnancy were all normal.
During the first 3-4 months I reduced 5 Kgs as I was unable to eat anything. In total I gained 9kgs uring pregnancy. In the ninth , I had swelling in legs.
I was not able to breastfeed my son as I was having issues in milk production. I could hardly feed him till 3 months along with formula milk. My periods resumed in sep'12 and were normal for 4 months. But in Jan'13 there were no periods. During that time I was travelling abroad for job related stuff. after having pulsatilla for a few days , periods came in Feb'13. Since then again there is no period for 2.5 months. My legs pain alot when I get up in morning.
I have also faced issue in reducing weight even after lot of exercise.Further , i wanted to add , I was slim and fair in my childhood but with time I gained weight and became dark as well.

I wil list down the issues I am facing rt now:

1) Irregular periods since last 5 months
2) Swelling in legs after sitting for long time and pains in leg next day morning
3) fatiqued/tired
4) No sexual desire
5) Dull back-ache sometime
6) Increasing weight

Please find below answer to your questions:

1. What exactly happens? >>> After giving birth in June'12, My periods commenced in Sep'12. They were regular(my cycle is 32 days) for 4 months. No periods in jan'13 then after taking pulsatilla in feb '13 got period. Since then no periods. I did not take pulsatilla after feb. I also feel severe pain in heels when I get upp in the morning. I also feel a dull backache sometimes
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain. >>>> Sometimes I feel period like dull stomachache and backache, for not more than half a day.My current job is sitting for long periods of time. I also had severe stomach cramps in upper abdomen with lose motions last week for around 5 days. they suddenly stopped after taking Sepia. No more stomachache and backache since then

After pregnancy, I got into post-partum depression and faced thoguhts of commiting suicide but they have subsided with time.I faced a time when I was not sure whether to continue job or leave it for my son.I sometimes get very tensed about his food and emotional growth. My parents stay with me and my son is a healthy and active child but still I worry about him a lot. Sometimes , I cry to be not able to keep up well with family and profession.I have become sensitive since my son's birth.

Also I have seen some changes in myself in last few days. Earlier i used to be very particular about how things should be done and would get irritated easily. I would say harsh words sometime but since last few days my tolerance has increased and I able to keep up with my emotions to shout or get angry.I have been tolerant now with everyone at home.
I have always been very shy/introvert person. Somewhere I feel about being obese and dark.I don't mingle with people easily and wait for them to take the initiative.
I had a happy childhood. My father as posted outside and stayed with my mother. He would come weekly. I have an elder sister.Financially I had a stable and well-to-do childhood. After school , I went to hostel and then job. I took Puls in potecy 30c , twice a day for 4-5 days when last time I had no periods. Periods arrived after taking the medicine(it could be a coincidence as well.)

A week back I took Sepia (potency - 30 , 3 times a day for 3 days) . I was having stomach cramps and lose motion and they suddenly stopped after taking the medicine.
