Please help- Simone717
Dear Simone,I am a 60 years old male who had been under Dr Reva's treatment for hepatitis C. Dr Reva prescribed Bryonia 30 and , after a few months treatment, my ALT level is normal (28). Lately I had been feeling abrasiveness in my mouth and my tongue feels as if bruised.A local allopath has diagnosed that it is due to stress. I am a diabetic and my mother had a stroke 5 months back due to which I remain depressed. Please advise.

Dear Dr Simone, I am located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Dr Reva V had prescribed Arnica 30 and Bryonia 30 for my mouth condition. However Arnica 30 made me feel irritable and caused sleeplessness. I have been trying to contact Dr. Reva for the last 20 days but I am not getting any reply. As for my mother, she had a brain stroke last April and is in coma since then. Please pray and advise.

your previous posts. I think Dr. Reva prescribed some
of this to you by email. I don't know the status of Dr. Reva,
if away traveling for a long time or what is going on.
I have some questions.
1. When was the last time you got an email from Reva?
2. please list
all the medicines you have been taking. Allopathic and homeopathic?
3. In July 2012 you said you had depression, you were treated by Dr. Mahfooz
then with the HR2 for Hep c and then later Reva. Reva gave you Aurum met for
depression. Did that help the depression? Is the depression now the
same as when you first came on here? If so, when did you first start
having this depression? What was going on?
4.How is the diabetes- is the blood sugar under control at this time?
5. Have you tried any homeopaths in Pakistan in person or talked to
them online?
6. When did this mouth and tongue problem start? Describe the appearance
of the tongue and mouth .
Stop the Arnica if it is irritating you. Reva already knew your case, and
I know it is hard to begin again, but information is needed to help you
out with best options for you now and to understand all of the issues.

Answers to your questions are as follows please:-
1. I got the last email from Dr Reva on 26 August ,2013.
2. I contracted Hepatitis C in 2005 as a result of tooth extraction at a local hospital. Had homeopathic treatment from a local doctor for a year or so, with no progress. In 2007 I underwent Interferon treatment due to which my PCR showed negative results. I had a relapse of hep C after six months. Went back to the homeopathic doctor and re-continued his treatment, again with no progress. Somewhere in 2012 Dr Mehfooz prescribed HR2(compound of mother tinctures of Cardus, Chaledonium, Ceanthus, and Cionanthus Vig), with no positive results.
3. Had been under Prozac treatment for one year (1999) against depression. I was cured of depression , but the condition reappeared after some time. Requested for treatment at the Forum. In September,2012 Dr Reva prescribed Aurum Met 30. Had this treatment for one week after which Dr Reva changed the medication to Phytolaca 6. It worked and I started feeling better. Stopped taking Phytolaca 6 on Dr Revas advise after one month.
4. On 19 September,2013, requested Dr Reva to help me in treating my hep C condition. Dr Reva advised Chelidonium 6x in liquid dilution. Take 4 drops (in 15ml of water), twice a day (dont combine with any other medicine) for 3 days and if every thing goes well, increase it to 3 times a day for a few weeks and repeat the test to see whether it improved the level.After a week my ALT level dropped from 102 to 90. However, after a few days I started having dry lips, dyspepsia, and constipation..
5. On 9 January, 2013 I wrote to Dr Reva I am taking Chelidonium 6x in liquid dilution since end October,2012.. After a week my ALT level dropped from 102 to 90. However, initially I had dry lips, dyspepsia, and constipation. Besides, very tiny pimples appeared on my tongue and inside of my lips. As advised by you, I discontinued the medicine for a week . I am continuing the medicine for the last two months. Today my ALT level was 87. Dyspepsia and constipation have disappeared, but my lips remain dry , with grainy pimples on their inside. Also, I can take the medicine only twice a day. Whenever I try to increase the dose to three times a day, I again get the side effects mentioned above. Kindly advise.
6. Dr Reva advised me to discontinue with Chaledonium 6 and start taking ajwain tea in the morning, and cold baths twice a week before sunrise. This made me feel better but my ALT level remained around100 and my mouth condition persisted ( dryness, as if bruised, abrasiveness).
7. After a month Dr Reva prescribed Bryonia 30, alongwith ajwain tea and cold baths. My ALT level started going down . By 5 August 2005 my ALT level had dropped to 45, but my mouth condition still persisted.
8. On 26 August,2013, Dr Reva advised Arnica 30 in the morning and
Bryonia 30 in the evening. Continue this for next 3 weeks
and write back. I took this medication for around 15 days but then discontinued as I started feeling irritated and heaviness in my head. I also lost sleep. Since then I have sent many emails to Dr Reva but have not received any reply.
9. Presently I am having allopathic treatment from a local doctor (Zopent and multivitamins with zinc), with not very encouraging results.
10. My diabetes is under control. I am taking a medicine called Piotin 500 thrice a day.
11. My tongue appears normal to me, except for the feeling of abrasiveness. Sometimes it disappears, then again appears. Today I am feeling as if the inside of my mouth has been rubbed with a sand paper. I also have mild constipation at times. A month back my ALT level was 25. Otherwise I have a busy schedule and teach management sciences at a local college.

You are not bothering me at all.
Dr. Reva usually does respond and has
invested some time with results for you here,
and I have seen him not respond when he goes
on long travels and is not connected to the
internet.
I Think it is obvious your mouth is a reaction
to the cheledonium 6x. The Bryonia/Arnica
worked well but I think the dosing/potency
has to be adjusted for you. Will get back to
you on all this.
Have you had the Hep C RNA test to see if there is any virus still
going on or not? Alt levels can go up and down with Hep C and
some HepC people do not have elevated Alt levels at all. And
people without Hep c have shown elevated Alt levels from eating
2 fast food meals a day and from taking fish oil supplements. We
need to know the status on the Hep C and that is done thru the rna test.
Still questions on depression for me.
You stated: Depression began in 1999. Cured
for a year with prozac. Then it came back and
seems nothing went on till 2012 treatment
with Aurum ( did not work)Phytolacca 6
did work) but was only used in Oct 2012.
So the depression began way before your illness
of hep c. Did you already have diabetes in 1999?
When did the depression you have now come
back? you said you were ok in oct 2012.
Are all these instances of depression the same
type of thing since 1999? Describe the depression - and if you think this is due to
low energy problems? Bc low energy can make
you depressed in 2 minutes.I am talking about the
ongoing depression vs. depression about your mother
which can be a different kind of depression, and I
would like you to make it clear whether you have
your old depression and new - or is it just the old.
