Pls Help with my son's coughHello there,
I have been this site a lot and find it very helpful.
If anyone can help me out with my son's cough that is worrying me right now ? He is 3 years old and started with a barking , dry cough on Thursday. I gave him Belladonna 30 C , which was his remedy last time and send him to kindergarten, in the night he got a fever and I gave him again Belladonna 200 C, which helped him with a fever but the cough got almost constant dry and barking almost all the time. The only period when he is not coughing is when he is sleeping. He is very irritable, last night again he had a fever and I gave him again Belladonna 200 C which again helped with the fever but the cough is very worrying to me. It is violent and constant, I don't think he has ever had such a cough before.
If you have any suggestions I will be very thankful.

I have been reading about Spongia Tosta and it does fit with the dry , barking cough but doesn't the general condition. He is very active, in good general condition, wants to play a lot, wants to drink cold drinks , sweats around the headline during the day and at night after fever ( maybe effect from Belladonna to reduce the fever). He has a good appetite, normally he craves milk and dairy products but now I just don't offer as I know they stimulate mucus production. Now we have some expectoration between the dry spells and this morning he developed a runny nose with watery discharge. The barking sound is a little less now more dry cough.
Many thanks for all suggestions.
