Hi Fitness,

Hope your well!

Just keeping you posted on Molly. She's doing really well! No further dosing since the last one, as yet.

No more vomiting, less clingy, happy lying beside me, unless there's others around, eating very well - now the worst seems over for now anyway, I have been a bit more persistent with her eating - not quite so quick to give her something different and seems to be working! Still on fresh fish but not breaking it up as much as she's now eating and chewing without any difficulty. Heart rate, respiration rate apart from a few days before her last dose, has remained stable, hardly ever on the hall floor sleeping now either, so a very happy cat for now. I will be in touch as soon as there is any deterioration, but so far all seems well.

Thanks and best wishes,

Kirsty

Morning Fitness,

Hope your well!

Molly has brought up about 10mls of clear liquid with a bit of foam. Everything else is great about her. Again I'm thinking it's possibly a bit of stress.

Lucy, Molly's daughter - on staphysagria for the first time in her life (she'll be 20 in August) came in to the living room yesterday and stayed there all day and all night! She's great around me on a one to one but as soon as anyone or nuala (the dog) appears she runs and hides. Yesterday morning she came in to the living room and came for cuddles, nuala was with my mum so when she came in I took Lucy on my knee until she settled. From there, went behind me on the couch and slept there happily all day. Molly wasn't too pleased by this - its her spot but they eventually settled together. First time I've had all 3 animals in the one room!

Molly is more energetic ( heard her and Lucy chasing each other through the night which hasn't happened for months) she eating well. It's just this little bit of vomit. Should I give her a further dose?

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Just observe for now, if a repeat episode happens, then give a single dose.

Ok, thanks fitness. If another dose is needed I'll let you know I've given it.

Morning Fitness,

Molly was sick again last night, probably about 10mls again and clear with a bit of foam. I gave her another dose of 30c pulsatilla and doing well again this morning. She ran away from me last night when she saw the blanket - she's still got plenty life in her!

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Morning Fitness,

Hope you're well!

Molly has been a little bit sick, approx tspn slightly brown mush and looking for food but refusing since last night. Other than this she appears to be doing great! Energy levels have significantly increased more so over the last 3 days. She's running about playing, exploring, much less clingy but still loving her cuddles! Getting better with Lucy, still messing with the dog, they've always been like this and generally much better! Just this vomiting which is obviously improving and happening with less severity and frequency.

Should I be repeating a further dose?

Thanks and best wishes,

Kirsty

Morning Fitness,

Hope you're well!

I noticed some clear liquid that had been vomited up by one of the cats this morning, I'm almost certain it's Molly at the moment but will continue to observe and get back to you as soon as I know for sure. Lucy so far, hasn't had any symptoms apart from the mental/emotional factors and she's doing exceptionally well now, Molly isn't too bothered by it either and Nuala has stopped chasing Lucy now she's no longer running away from her, it was a bit of a vicious circle for a while but got there!

Molly is doing great too, still on fish, discovered she doesn't like herring but loving, tuna, cod, salmon and chicken. Apart from the vomiting, there isn't anything else happening to report.

I will post again as soon as I know for sure, if it is Molly, would it be worthwhile increasing the potency to 200c to go a bit deeper and see if we can get her a bit better?

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Hi Fitness,

It's definitely Molly that's being sick. It's just happened again, she's wanting cuddles, a bit clingy but purring away.

Should I give a further 30c or would it be worthwhile trying her with the 200c?

Best wishes,

Kirsty

If you have 200c, try that.

I got it in liquid form a while back. Ok, I will let you know how she's doing in a few days.

Thanks again,

Hi Fitness,

I gave Molly pulsatilla 200c last night and she's great today! :o)

Lots of energy and appetite has increased. She seems a lot stronger onher feet - running about again but also now jumping up on furniture from a distance. I'll post back when she declines.

Thanks again!

Hi Fitness!

This is merely an update, Molly's volume of vomiting (so far) has decreased significantly. She was wrenching there and brought up at most, 1 ml of a bit of foam. She's doingvery well in every other respect atthe moment, so again, I'll post when there's been any decline in her health.

Have a nice weekend,

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Hi Fitness,

I hope you're well!

Just a further update, Molly is still doing well. She had 2 days, yesterday and Monday where she was extremely quiet, sleeping again on the kitchen worktop, obviously cool there for her, but huge appetite. If she wasn't sleeping she was eating! Today, she's more like her old self again. We've had to throw out perfumed ornaments as she's developed a bit of a fascination for them, she's still looking for them even though we binned them. She is an old cat but for now, she's an old cat that still wants to live and seems to be improving. She's only brought up a small fur ball so far.

Thanks again for all your help,

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Hi Fitness,

A further update on Molly with more positive results!

Still no more vomiting, she brought up a further fur ball today but that has been all. Her appetite eating habits are much better - she's still on chicken and fish and is refusing nothing. After eating, especially she seems particularly happy and energetic. She's been running around, getting up to mischief and generally seems very happy and content in herself.

Further from this, her being so unwell I've been reluctant to leave her on her own for any length of time as she only seemed to want to come to me for anything she needs but twice I've came in and she's been having cuddles with my mum. As soon as I'm in she's over to me but this is still a big improvement. She's also happy now, lying beside me, except when there's others around, the clingyness has substantially decreased. She's definitely happy, content and more relaxed.

If she continues to improve further without anymore dosing in the near future I will keep you up to date, if things deteriorate at any stage I'll be in touch. I always say, never say never with homeopathy but I honestly never expected Molly to get as well as she has done!

Thanks again and I'll speak to you again soon.

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Hi Fitness,

Hope you're well!

A further update on Molly. She's been doing extremely well, but for the last 24 hours her appetite has significantly decreased. She's been eating mostly chicken over the last few weeks, started refusing tuna and I'm about to try her with some other fish, in case it'sjust her wanting a change again.

There's been no further vomiting except the odd fur ball. Today, although showing no signs of distress, she is quite lethargic. She hasn't been lying anywhere cool, in fact she's permanently beside me. She's happy enough just this lethargy/sleepiness and lack of appetite - there's no other changes in temperament or physical symptoms. Just yesterday morning she was running in to the living room in the morning and jumping on to my knee for cuddles and wanting Fed.

How should I proceed?

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Please watch for 24 hrs and if things stabilize or improve then take no action. If worsen, you can repeat one dose.

Thanks Fitness,

I'll let you know either way. She's just picking at her food tonight, after she ate she had a slight burst of energy and quite alert, just not quite herself.

Best wishes,

Morning Fitness,

She was wanting a change and maybe just a lazy day! She's eaten a substantial amount overnight and again energetic and looking for more this morning!

Every time there's a change in her, I think - is this it for her? Never had a 20 year old cat that has got well again, but at the same time I want to be there for her when the time comes.... For now and hopefully for a while yet, she's still with us!

Thanks Fitness,

Best wishes,

Kirsty

Morning Fitness,

I had to give Molly a dose of pulsatilla 200c this morning at 4am. We were out yesterday and when I returned she came running out the kitchen. New it wasn't in a happy to see me way - mischief! She got in to the cupboard where we keep the dry cat food. Wasn'tsure if she had eaten anything as she was looking very happy in herself, just things had been knocked over but she was sick and it was the dry food. She's great and full of life this morning so no lasting effects.

Best wishes,

Kirsty
