Seborrheic dermatitis

I was hoping someone could suggest a remedy for me and my skin condition. I have a condition on my face called seborrheic dermatitis, which I think I got from having used a topical antibiotic solution on my face for 15 years. Now I have very itchy, red, flaky skin on my face, along with some cystic acne. I also have dandruff.
Thank-you,
Connie

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Why were you using the antibiotic solution on your face for 15 years?

When did the itch start? Are you still using the solution?

Thanks for the quick reply. I was using the solution originally for small, flesh-colored bumps on my forehead. My doctor said I should stay on it all those years for prevention. So I did. And now I regret having done so. My face started to itch while I was using the solution still, about 3 years ago. I then stopped using the solution and broke out in cystic acne, especially around my mouth area (to the right and left sides of my chin mainly) so I started applying a topical oregano oil solution to my face, and am still doing so today.

If you go for homeopathic treatment, it would require you to stop using any cream or solution.

Are you prepared for it? I can tell you this may take some time.

Oh my, I'm not sure if I'm prepared to stop using the oregano oil solution as I know it will mean lots of cystic acne (and consequently, scarring) as well as incredible itchy skin (which means many sleepless nights again). If I do decide to stop the oregano oil, how much time do you think it might take for my symptoms to improve with homeopathy? Do you know of many others with a fungal skin condition like mine who have been cured with homeopathy alone?
Thanks again,
Connie

No, I can't tell you how long would it take. Firstly, the remedy and the potency has to be correct. Secondly, the response of your vitality has to overcome the infection.

We don't really know how much time these will take.

Ok, thanks. I will post a reply if I decide I wish to go off the oregano oil solution. I really have to think about it first.
