Seborrheic dermatitis
Hello.Male
Age - 37y
Weight - 80kg
Height - 173cm
Country - South Asia
I have Sabhorric Dermatitis on my scalp, Groin, ears, chest, and on chin. All of them are crusty/scaly all the time.
Infected areas itch. When I scratch, they release lucid fluid which becomes crust after some time. Scalp becomes a mosaic-like surface, and other areas become scaly.
Some foods like beef, shrimp, etc exacerbate the situation.
I used Sulphur30, Graphitis30, and ArsenicAlb 30. They didn't fully cure. But, the situation is stable. Sulphur30 and Graphitis30 exacerbate the situation, and after several days the situation becomes stable and unchanged. Arsenic Alb 30 doesn't show any visible change.
Arsenic Iod 30c - didn't continue
Psorinum 200c - din't continue
I have breathing difficulty time to time (https://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/570331/).
So, kindly consider that before prescribing any medication.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
HOW IS IT THAT IN YOUR INITIAL POST,NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS WERE HIGHLIGHTED?
IN PEACE MEALS IF YOU WRITE DOWN YOUR SYMPTOMS HOW WILL YOU BE CURED?
ABOUT YOUR BREATHING PROBLEMS YOU HAVE NOT GIVEN ANY FEEDBACK AFTER YOU WERE TOLD TO DISCONTINUE THE MEDICINES.

Coz, breathing problem was more serious.
> About your breathing problems you have not given any feedback after you were told to discontinue the medicines.
Its in much better shape, but not fully cured. For instance, occasional rain or cold drinks and so on are giving me trouble. But, lower in frequency and intensity.

> You must mention your all symptoms in your previous post and should follow Dr Anuj's advise but you just became silent.

> what make it worse?
Eating beef, shrimp, egg-plant, and so on.
Not bathing for consecutive days.
> what make it better?
Using apple cider vinegar to clean it (but, currently it is out of market and expensive). Otherwise, I don't know.
> dose it change the place after itching?
No.
> dose it has purulent discharge?
No.
> what time it worse?
Night time.
> how is affected area before itching and after itching?
before - scalp, ear, chest -> crusty/powdery.
crotch -> scratched red, filthy and smelly.
after - scalp, ear, chest -> fluid discharge, and yellow amber
when dried up.
crotch -> bloody.
> please share an image of affected area.

What does "Sabhorric " mean? What have other people understood from this ailment "Sabhorric dermatitis"? I looked it up in Homeopathy dictionary and then, BMA Medical dictionary and then a Medical Handbook. It is not there. Will Healthyworld please help?

Mezereum 200C (as advised by Dr Anuj)
Take 1 dose of the above remedy. (please make sure that you have not taken any remedy since last 7 days else you have to wait.)
See how this remedy works for you in coming 15 days. If you did not notice improvement by using above remedy you can try Sulphur 200C.
HOW TO TAKE THE REMEDY:
Please take one dose. Just one dose. Not daily.
WHAT IS A DOSE:
Get the remedy in liquid:
Put two drop of the remedy in 20 ml of mineral water, hit the bottle atleast 6 time (shaking the bottle is not enough) and keep it for 5 minutes. Take it before bedtime. That’s one dose.
TIME OF DOSE:
First dose: At night before sleeping.
Note: don't eat or drink any thing before or after 30 minutes of taking remedy. Avoid Strong smell, Coffee, Raw Garlic, Raw Onion, Hing and Tobacco in any form.

Poush: I have deleted my post above.
Neither Anuj nor healthyworld sought any clarification from you.
But why did you have to use terms like "Sabhorric...." when you did not know how to spell even and then expect a helper to search Google.
Most helpers on ABC are desperate to make a grab at the patient and most pts seem to convey they are better informed, like in your case. Still they want help. See what happens in your case.
Pls ask Anuj what "new" symptoms he's talking about. What were the "old" ones?

If you have any more advice, you are welcome. Coz, I haven't started taking Mezereum200C yet.
I am planning to start taking Mezereum200C . But, at the moment, I am super busy with something else.
Hopefully, I will be able to buy the medication in a few day.

> Something is not right. What is the color of crusts?
What color is expected in case of Seborrheic Dermatitis?
The color of crust from scalp before itching and scratching is silver/gray. After itching is amber.
> How did you conclude it was seborrheic D?
First I short listed : Seborrheic Dermatitis and Psoriasis.
Then, I discovered that the scalp and groin completely heals up if I take anti-fungal tablet like Griseofluvin 500mg. But, it comes back in the next 15 days.
So, it certainly is not Psoriasis as psoriasis doesn't heal up with anti-fungal drugs.

I took Mezereum200C on 2-January-2019.
As of 20-January-2019, the situation is improved by, I would say, 50%.
For instance,
- Scalp is now less itchy. Scalp-flakes are less visible
- Ears are less itchy. Flakes are less visible.
- Crotch is less smelly.
But, it is not fully cured.
Should I take another dose of Mezereum200C?
