Dear Dr.Kumar,

I am using the hair oil as suggested by you. But my hairs all falling more when I apply the oil. Is it normal??

Wheater I should avoid tea, coffee anything when taking scalptone or any homeopathy medicine??

Plz help by replying.

The short list of substances below tends to have an antidotal effect (but not always) on Homeopathic medicines, so anything on this list is best avoided -

COFFEE - (You may have decaffeinated coffee or ordinary tea). Avoid anything containing caffeine e.g. Lucozade or All cola drinks. Energy drinks tend to contain caffeine so they are best avoided also.

PAINKILLERS - Some painkillers contain caffeine so they also need to be avoided, but there are plenty of painkillers that do not contain caffeine and these can be used safely. The brand names of painkillers such as Syndol, Solpadeine, Cojene and Phensic all contain caffeine.

MENTHOL / CAMPHOR containing products such as Vick, Karvol, Vapo Rubs have an adverse effect on Homeopathic medicine so its safer not to use.

EUCALYPTUS - Same considerations as Menthol / Camphor above. Ralgex and Oil of Wintergreen are some examples.

MINT / PEPPERMINT - As found in toothpaste, some sweets, chewing gum etc. will also antidote Homeopathic medicine.

I am using the hair oil mixture of virgin coconut oil with arnica, brahmi, causti q. But my hairs are falling when I apply the oil.

Plz let me know it is common or this oil is not suiting me.

Yes, of course! it is very normal. Every thing will get soon recovered after a definite time. Nothing will harm to your hair. Please wait for a certain time for its positive results. You may take Selenium 200 orally two times a week. It will help you from hair-loss.

Dear Bijunair, you may take the medicine Selenium 200 twice a week but mind one thing that when you take Selenium 2oo stop Scalptone on those days. It means you wouldn't take scalptone for two days only.

Like most people here i have had signicficant hair loss over the last year . I am 28yrs old and female. I have an underactive thyroid for which i take thyroxine , i am also on Warafarin ,as i have antiphospholipid syndrome . Would taking Natrum Muraticum be ok for me also . Any help would be great. Madam Bluescrubs, don't worry about your hair-loss, all it is due to thyroidism. You are advised to take a single dose of Thyroidinum CM bi-monthly and report after two months.

I am a 20 year old male from mumbai.
I have been experiencing hair loss for past 6 months or so. I have kind of a bald patch on the back of my head. Even a bit of baldness can be seen on the forehead.
My skin is oily and i do sweat quite a bit especially on the head. Dandruff is very less.
I gently massage my head with luke warm ginglee oil twice a week and wash it off with 'shikakai'. I apply Ashwini Hair oil everyday.
I am not alergic to any medicine and i am not undergoing treatment for any other problem.
I do consume a lot of water and fruits.
I even avoid exposing my head to too much of sun.

To tell about my self... I am an emotional type of a person. I do move around well with people. I do not get angry or tensed up very easily. I am kind of an easy going person.
Hair loss is not seen in my father or my grand father.


Kindly suggest a homeopathic treatment to stop hair loss and to ebnable the hair to grow back. (Not averse to tablest or oil.)

Dear Denis477 and agnello, both of you are suggested to take two-three drops of Selenium 200 once a week. It is my well selected remedy against baldness like that you have. For application on your head and massage you should use Gano oil (a product of DXN company) mixing with olive oil. You will get positive results sure.

Mr. Anil, you can get rid of the problems of hair loss if you apply Gano oil on your head while going to sleep and Ganozhi shampoo next morning on bathing. Take selenium 30 on alternate days early in the morning as soon as you leave the bed. Two drops of this remedy are sufficient to take directly on the tongue. Say after a month or the two.
