Dog arthritis 18 yrs old
Greetings,I am treating an 18 year old Dachsund with severe arthritis and neglected teeth. (Dad's dog)
Background:
Arthritis x6 years. Hind legs almost fixed sometimes dragging to finish walk.
Teeth removed at 8 years neglected since.
Very thin for 5 years.
Walks short distances daily.
Eats only meat.
firm stool.
Aggressive towards some women (when younger).
Nearly blind and deaf.
Treatment to date:
06/06/14: Admin 1 teaspoon ruxtox 30c wet. Immediate improvement in 5 min: legs more mobile. While standing am now able to push down without him collapsing. Checked on patient after 4 hours and still improving. He looks better overall. Any suggestions appreciated.

He was doing notably better for 2 days but is back to limping and dragging.
I will administer Rhustox 200c wet. I will report back in 5 days.

I reconsidered the rhustox 200c for now. I will wait awile to re-dose. The medicine may still be working.

18 year old Dachsund is progressively improving now. On Jun 27 he started walking again and today he is jumping up for pets, greets me at door, going on walks, etc.
The only treatment was rhus 30c one wet dose on Jun 8.

The Dog just turned 19 last month. He did great for a few months but became nearly incpacitated yesterday out of the blue! I am amazed the Rhus30c helped him so much while he still had some vital force left. But today was the hard decision.
He is on the other side now. I had him euthanized this morning.
