Homeopathic remedies needed urgently for pcos!
HelloI would be grateful if you could suggest some homeopathic remedy for the following:
PCOS - symptoms consist of irregular periods, hair loss and thinning (on head), some eyebrow hair loss, facial acne, hirusutism (mainly on abdomen) and facial area, weight gain.
the following is some information which may help:
I am female, 21 years of age, live in the uk (where it is extremely cold!)
The hair above my forehead is very thin, whereas before i had thick hair..
hormone tests show i have 3 times the normal level of androgens.
Blood tests showed my thyroid is normal however I am anaemic and suffer from iron deficiency.
I have been taking the following after conducting some research!
Doctors prescribed ferrous sulphate (iron tablets)
I am not on any other medication.
since january 2005 agnus castus for irregular periods
since january 2005 - nourkrin for loss of hair
sulphur 30c
silicea 30 c since last week after feedback on this abc homeopathy.
first sign of pcos in september 2002 - (i didn't know it was pcos then)
acne - started in september 2002 - after years of a clear complexion.
hirsutism - mainly face area noticed in december 2002.
noticed irregular periods from january 2003.
thinning hair and loss of hair from august 2002.
diagnosed with anaemia in september 2003.
diagnosed with pcos in september 2003 - 3 times the normal level of androgen levels.
Started reading at university in September 2002 - when symptoms started.
I don't really like sweet food i.e chocolates, ice cream, although if need be i will eat it.
I am quite a laidback person, very calm, i listen patiently, talk alot, polite and quite outgoing. alot of people talk to me about their personal problems! i do not hurry things, i like to do things efficiently so take my time. i read alot. one thing i have not put above is that from the year 1999 when i started losing weight, this was due to bulemia - i was not diagnosed with this - i did not have any sort of therapy to get me out of the state of mind for losing weight - i knew what i was doing was wrong (i.e throwing up) but did not stop as i looked ok. i.e did not have any of the problems described above, i was at a healthy weight (10 stone for my 5ft 7 height) had clear skin, looked better than i had in years (as everyone said and i genuinely thought so myself)my bulemic state (as i should put it) did not stop until most of my pcos symptoms had set in).
i diagnosed myself with (well i knew i was bulemic since i started throwing up regularly). i am currently happy (not as in hyper happy but feeling fine). although my weight does worry me as i have put on 2 stone again - i eat good food i.e. avoid fried food, sweet food (with high sugar content).
Just like to add a few more things!
I get cold hands and feet especially at night
menses was normal until 18 (started at age 12)
acne gets worse just after menses when i do get them.
do not really like spicy foods - although as a treat i will have some.
i eat brown rice, not that many fruits, anything my mum cooks!
not married - not pregnant - have never taken birth control pills - i was given these for my irregular periods but refused to take them.
was given metformin (also known as glucophage) for insulin levels - to reduce some weight - but refused to take any sort of non - natural medicine.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Amireen, this started when you began Uni? Do you worry that you can't cope with the course, but do well anyway. If so, the symptoms you present could be better with Calc Carb, 200c, one at night and one in the morning, then wait for effect for at least a week.
