After 24 hours of taking one dose only of , Lachesis 1M, present status as under :
1. Ulcer, which was 1/4" in diamter has further reduced.
2. Pain in the tongue, slightly reduced, but ulcers still remain active.
3. Throat pain (left side only) is still there without any improvement.
4. Blisters surrounding the mouth is still present, alongwith pain.
5. With Hot water/tea, feeling better, but with cold water , feeling mild burning sensation (from the very beginning).
Please let me know, whether Lachesis 1M is to be continued ?.
Also let me know, the potency and dose of Merc.Sol, which is to be
taken after 48 hours, as adviced by your earlier.

please describe the ''look'' of the blisters-ulcers.
...color? bleedind?discharge? ..etc
odor from mouth?
color and texture of tongue (itself)?
condition of saliva? lack of? too mucH?...etc taste in mouth?
are glands affected in any way?
any pain in neck region (muscles)?

1. Hot / Cold water symptom is old.
2. Blisters is like a small projections/boils, surrounding the mouth, and there is no bleeding or formation of puss, and no discharge.
3. Colour is light purple from the very bginning. Ulcer on the tongue are not
projected, but it is reddish spot, which is painful.
4. Condition of saliva is normal as usual, taste is ok.
5. Only on the tonsil point, there is a pain, and if it is pressed from outside, feeling of hardness is felt, as if tonsil has swelled but not visible from outside.
6. Ulcer on the tongue is on the left side only, and it is extending upto the end
of the tonsil, near throat.
7. No Vaccination taken so far.

Status after 36 hours after taking 1 dose of Lachesis 1M.
1. Throat pain is on a higher side. Difficult to swallow food.
2. Rest all status remain the same, as already posted to you after 24 hours.
John : Only the Tonsil(left side) is affected, as i have already told you.
there is no discoluration of eyes.
Please go thru all the posts again, which was posted yesterday.

Status after 48 hours : It is same as before, whatever i mentioned after 24 hrs & 36 hrs. There is no further improvement.
what is the next remedy ?? whether my father has to take Merc Sol ??? what potency & dose ???

You can start giving Merc. Sol. 30 four times a day from tomorrow morning.
If the pain is higher, it could be 'homeopathic aggravation" ...will subside and improvement set in within 24 hours.

This is a symptom of Lachesis.
Since the dose has been give,it will gradually reduce and then will not be there (throat pain worse after sleeping ---on left side).

My father has been taking Merc.Sol 30, as adviced by Pankaj, 4 times a day since 3 days.
Pain & Burning is much less than earlier. Ulcers sizes has reduced considerably and throat pain is comparatively less.

It has already been reported earlier that my father has a tendency of dysentry from time to time.
For the last 2 days, his motion (stool) was not clear. Today ( 19.07.04), since morning there is a
pain in the back (below waist upto hip area), unable to stand straight. However while resting on bed, no
feeling of pain. Today afternoon there was a soft stool accompanying with white mucous. Please advice.
As regards ulcer in mouth, after six days of taking Merc.Sol30, the position are as under :
1. Throat Pain is present but less.
2. Ulcers are reduced, pain is still present, but it is less compared to earlier.
3. Blisters surrounding the mouth are present with slight pain.
Please advice.

Pain is not new, whenever there is dyssentry & motion is not clear.
Similar symptom was experienced earlier.
This time, no new ulcer has appeared so far.
