Testicular pain

There is a constant pain in my left testicle. Few months back, I felt sudden jerk and severe pain in my left testicle. Now the pain is not severe, although sometimes the pain shoots towards left side of my groin (spermatic chord) and abdomen. The pain is mainly in the lower and central area (near epididymis) of the left testicle. I tried Arnica 200, but without any improvement. My left testicle is also retracted, especially when I am standing. I used to masturbate quite frequently. Please suggest remedy.
