Chalazion in my 2 year old daughter
Hello I am new at homeopathy and I want to try this to avoid another surgery for my daughter's chalazion. Last year when she was 14 months old she had a surgery for her 3 chalazions 2 on her left eye (lower and upper lid) and 1 on the right eye upper lid. Now she's almost 2 1/2 yrs old another one is forming (still a little soft) at the right eye upper lid. I am constantly doing the warm compress and giving her vitamins with omega 3. I am pretty sure if I will go back to the ophthalmologist that did her surgery he will just give me an antibiotic cream and will suggest warm compress then surgery again if it doesn't go away. Please help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Can you describe the mental nature, personality, behavior of your daughter.
Also describe her general symptoms like hunger, thirst, sweat, her thermal preferences etc.
What is her craving and aversion in food and drinks?
What are her other likes and dislikes?

Thank you for responding Mr. Rishimba, here's the answer to your questions:
1. Can you describe the mental nature, personality, behavior of your daughter?
- my daughter very active, a normal 2 year old that wants attention always, a little bit stubborn and lately if she did not get what she wanted she will cry and scream like she's just acting it. But she's a sweet and loving little girl.
2.Also describe her general symptoms like hunger, thirst, sweat, her thermal preferences etc.
- she is a picky eater she likes rice, noodles, sweets and yogurt. She drinks milk and water and at night i still breastfeed her. She sweats a lot on her head sometimes even when she is sleeping. Thermal preferences; she likes cooler temperature, doesn't like to be covered while sleeping.
3.What is her craving and aversion in food and drinks?
- she craves for chocolates and chocolate milk. She doesn't like too much flavor on the food. She doesn't like to eat meat yet.
4.What are her other likes and dislikes?
She likes to go out and walk, run. She doesn't like to share toys like an average 2 year old kid.
Our ethnicity is asian and lives in California. I hope I answered everything you asked and again thank you.

I also want to add that she prefers to play with older kids than kids like her age. She also like to eat corn :)

Please try PULSATILLA 200C three doses only, each dose 12 hours apart.
Give the doses in empty stomach and clean mouth. One dose would be 3 drops in some 10 ml water sipped up slowly.
Once you see a change in the size of the Chalazion, follow up with a weekly dose for some weeks till it merges well with the skin.
Come back if the first dose-set of Pulsatilla doesn't produce a response in the next 10 days.

Good day Mr. Rishimba!
Is Pulsatilla Nigricans 200C is the same with Pulsatilla 200CK or should I get the one ?
When you say give three doses only 12 hours apart should I stop giving her Pulsatilla 200c after 3 doses and wait for 10 days for a response?
Then if I see changes on the size follow up with a weekly dose for some weeks till it merges well with the skin.Does this mean one dose a week?
I am new to this therapy please bear with me asking the treatment directions. :)

Yes, you have understood correctly.
Just give three doses initially. Wait and watch her response for the next 10 days. If there is a little change in 10 days, just give one dose per week.

I'm glad I understood it correctly. One more thing Mr. Rishimba, is Pulsatilla Nigricans 200c is the same as Pulsatilla 200CK?
Thanks in advance :)

Hello Dr. Rishimba,
I just got the pulsatilla and gave one dose already.
I also just want to let you know, that before I got the medicine her chalazion rapture and decrease in size, by consistently applying warm compress I guess, and she has colds with mucus and cough.
Will get back to you after first doses is done.
Thanks

Good day Dr. Rishimba!
Today is the 10th day since I gave her the first dose of pulsatilla. I cant tell if there is a changes in size because before I gave the medicine the chalazion popped a little bit so it decreases in size a bit but it is till there not too pronounce though. Should I continue the pulsatilla once a week?
Thank you!

It seems there was no response. How many doses did you give her on the first day?
If you had given only one dose, it may not have produced the required stimulus. Please give two to three doses in the first 24 hours and once you see a response, follow it up once or twice a week based on the progress. If you don't see much progress, try giving her twice a week till you see a change.

Good day Dr. Rishimba
It is me again. I followed the doses twice a week and the chalazion size decreases. However, I can still feel it still there and now another one is starting to come out on the same eye. What should I do? Please help. Its so frustrating seeing my daughter's eye with bumbs

Seems PULSATILLA didn't work up to my expectations. The next remedy that is fitting her case is Antim CrudE.
Try weekly dose of 200C potency for some weeks.
Initially, you can try two doses, each dose 12 hours apart. Once you see a change in the next few days, weekly dose may be given.

I am still waiting for the Antim that I ordered on this site. I ordered the liquid and how many drops should I dilute and how much water? I am still continuing the pulsatilla while waiting for the antim. Right now the 2nd bump is increasing its size and a bit red :(

It's better not to give any remedy that you know won't work. So, stop giving her pulsatilla.
For Antim Crude, please dissolve 3 drops in some 10ml of water and let her sip it up in empty stomach first thing in the morning. This is one dose.

Please wait for a week. First we need to know this remedy is capable of producing a response.
Please come back here if you don't see any change in her even in one week.

Good day Dr. Rishimba
Today is the first week and this morning I gave her 1 dose. 2 days ago the redness was less and the size decrease a little bit, but today it seems bigger and it is red again like inflamed. I observed it's like the redness and the size is on off

Please give a sustained dose of Antim CrudE 200C once in two days.
If you give the every alternative day, there would be gradual relief. Give the doses as long as you see the change for the better.
As soon as you notice things getting worse, stop the dose.

I just want to make sure I get it right. Did you mean give 1 dose for 2 days. Then after that every other day until it gets better?
