Severe toddler constipation

I have a 16month old with severe constipation. Osteopath says gut is quite high. Frequent red faced straining, 10-15 times a day with small skids of poo in nappy. Clingy. Have tried silica and call carb with not much effect. 2-3 months of symptoms following gastro, viral infection, chest infection, and teething.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

plz tell these--

1) colour and any strange smell of stool

2) colour of tongue and mucus discharge if exists

3) time at which constipation/stools are more i.e morning, afternoon, night etc

4) what type of chest congestion plz explain

Constipation and straining is all day, more prominent in early morn and evening.
Chest congestion was in early November after gastro bug which lasted a week. No antibiotics.
On healthy diet but constipation been a problem for months since he cut a lot of teeth at one go.
Prunes/apricots/dates don't make difference. Been on probiotic since 6mths old, changed from flora to biocare to one I get in waitrose now.
Smelly but not particularly different colour or intense fouls smell.
Was born with hyperinsulinism... And enlarged liver and spleen contributing to the higher and smaller gut.

after 3 days of stopping other homeopathic medicines,

give CAUSTICUM 30c, 2 drops in a tablespoon water, 3 times a day for 2 days,

dnt eat or drink anything 30 minutes before or after medicine,

{if pills then 3 pills, 3 times 2 days}

report how felt in constipation, sleep, straining and mental freshness after 15 days of stopping the course,
