confused about treatment for pcos..plz clarify
Hi,I'm 28 year old married women. I was diagnosed with pcos 4 years ago. I suffered from irregular periods from menarche. I took treatment from the same forum for about a year till last summer. But no remedy seemed to work on me. I did not respond to any remedies. So i stopped. I didnt have a normal period for more than a year. I take allopathic drugs to induce periods for every 3 months.
About 6 months ago i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism also. I put on a lot of weight. I decided to concentrate on weight loss .i started taking nat phos 6x twice everyday since 3 months. Metformin twice a day. Inositol twice a day and thyroid medication. since a month i stopped having dairy products. I started eating healthy and im doing aerobics 30 mins since a week.
My concern is that, a few days ago i read in a blog that sepia 200c helps with weight loss when taken along with nat phos and nat mur. I took a single dose on 21st march and on 22nd march i got my period. I'm surprised because i have lost much weight. And pcos and weightloss are very much related.
. I took sepia many times before but i didn't respond to it. Does that mean sepia worked on me ? Should i continue taking it or has the remedy done its job? Please clarify.
Regards

Homeopathy works when remedies are chosen based on ALL of your symptoms. Taking remedies without following this process will not work, rather it will mess up the case making cure difficult.
Physical growths don't respond well to homeopathy unless long term treatment is continued.
Organ swelling or enlargement however responds quite well.
PCOS is a growth and for your case my estimate is that it won't resolve unless 2-3 years of treatment is done.
A forum is not the right setting for this, you should consult a classical homeopath by meeting him in person or online, whatever suites you.

Hi fitness,
I completely agree with you. I have taken homeopathy treatment under the supervision of a classical homeopath from this forum for about 1.5 years. I dont doubt the said person's abilities because he successfully treated several pcos cases in this forum.
The reason i started this thread was to know whether sepia worked for me. Because i understand that the lifestyle changes that i have made taketime to yield results
. I just hoped that i finally found a remedy that produced a response from me and would like to know whether continuing it would be beneficial. .
Thank you
