just got up and moving...here's my notes so far.

immediately after dose I became quite lethargic and tired. Dizzy kinda bla bla my usual feeling.

Baby nursed about 20-30 minutes later, for only a few minutes. No change in his behavior relative to the last few nights.

He was all wound up before bed and wanting to play and crawl all over me. Finally nursed a few short times and had to bounce him to sleep, but he passed out quickly and soundly.

We must've slept really well cause I don't remember much of the night feedings, except that they did happen. lol

He woke up pretty happy, and so far he's in a pretty good mood.

His rash seems to be fading.
(just fyi I did discontinue the geranium oil--last application was a few hours before i took the lyc).

I'll continue to update as to how the day goes etc.

((Just purely curious here, what is your opinion of "quality coffee"? lol ))

rom109 7 years ago
well crap. for the sake of full disclosure,....

I just looked back over your instructions on the dose and I did it wrong. I understood what you meant I just completely forgot while I was mixing it and chasing the baby across the house to dilute it in the second glass.

how bad is that??

rom109 7 years ago
don't worry about confusion--my fault--using too many words..

good call on ur part on not using geranium oil--I forgot tell not use topicals at all--if affects it Is medicinal...

quality coffee--is way I say it--to make person really consider what they are using--better wording --would have been ''pure coffea"

infact wil be right for u to have thi sin ur homoeopathic medicine chest..

coffea cruda 30c

as well as

camphor 30c

very useful-- antidote (not to all remedies) but when shows relevant for usage..

John Stanton 7 years ago
I do have the Coffea cruda 30c.

No I understood what you meant about diluting the first TBSP in a second 4oz of water, I just literally forgot. lol
I had the tablets disolving, and ran across the house after the child and when I came back to it fifteen minutes later, I was like, "ok stir and take 1 TBSP."
Anyways. Oh well. I'm glad it's not a bad thing.

Today was actually a pretty good day for us. I felt somewhat lethargic in the first of the day as I usually do, but I had quite a burst of creative motivation that I have not had in like two months.

The baby is doing a lot better as far as clingy and whiny. The rash is almost completely resolved.

So I have these weird bump things on my right arm/shoulder area (they're always there) but today they are bigger and a tad bit itchy(er).

Oh, I forgot to mention. Last night before going to bed I got the hiccups...which is pretty rare for me. This morning like 5 minutes after waking up, the baby had the hiccups. (not unusual for him to have, but maybe it's not a coincidence...idk.)

rom109 7 years ago
co-incidence-=-2 things happening at same time

bumps--when first appear in health history?any meds used?lotions?

John Stanton 7 years ago
the bumps I think they've been there for a while I don't remember how long. years.
Sometimes its like a little dry skin patch, sometimes its itchy, sometimes it's not.

I've never treated it with anything except my normal moisturizer. Nothing has made a difference.

rom109 7 years ago
all that comes up--new or old--is of much importance..

I think u know this already-- I am just bringing out in light again..

and as such--whole being is treated --no piece meal treatment--this for this --that for that...single medicine --watch and wait--

concerning nettles u use..this is a remedy in homoeopathic materia medica (urtica urens)

if possible --I would like to get u off this and the ma.. root

others we let go..

if ur taking Urtica urens for milk flow--and is actually a complaint (inefficient milk flow)-- then more reason to do without--so as cover all symptoms with single medicine

I relat this now--in case lycopium response stops--and then I wonder what has effected..dilemma-----to dose again--and pretend tht another meds wont effect is not option for me...

anyway --just filling u in on thoughts..again probably too many words--

John Stanton 7 years ago
Don't worry about too many words. I'm an intelligent person. lol I appreciate you sharing your thoughts in this way as I can see you as a human being and also I can learn about this process.

I am taking the Nettles for allergies. If I stop then the allergies get really bad. Sneezing like crazy and sinuses completely swollen and can't breathe.

I am willing to try a spell without Maca. and maybe Nettles.

By the way, last night I was doing a little light reading in the Organon of Medicine. I googled and found it. 6th edition. I found it on www.vithoulkas.com

I really like learning about this. and I can see how Hahnemann viewed pretty much everything that was not Homeopathy as Allopathy.

anyhow, i digress.

1 of 3 possible relationships a medicine may have with natural ill..

1...antipathic---opposite pathogenesis of medicine to natural ill
2...homoepathic ---similar pathogensis of medicine with natural ill
3...allopathic ---no relationship between medicine and illness

it Is wise idea -stopping mac and nettles-----we will treat as symptoms arise

for now list in detail --as u best remember --symptoms envolved with allergies u mentioned..

John Stanton 7 years ago
I don't think of u as unintelligent--

my concern is my habit of writing all that come to mind--and 'man' it can get messy...

so 'right on '' that u are able follow my scrabble talk..

John Stanton 7 years ago
you have lycopodium 200c?

John Stanton 7 years ago
I do not. I can order it, though. Maybe in two days.

rom109 7 years ago
Sorry just saw your response about allergies.

Symptoms are very similar to a cold, and I always think it's a cold (denial!) at first. Seasonal beginning around spring pollens kick up.

Burning sinuses itchy eyes, then seriously violent sneezes, multiple in a row. Then sinus congestion, builds quickly to completely blocked sinuses so I cannot breathe through my nose. at night when lying down especially. Sinus headache pressure around bridge of nose and forehead.

I usually take Sudafed(the real stuff) but not while breastfeeding! And I've also taken Zyrtec, but I wanted to get away from chemicals so I switched to nettles and I've been taking 300mg 3x/day. and just last week I started sneezing more and started taking one extra capsule a day to combat allergies.

Just remembered this - last night when going to bed there was some slight discomfort over my kidneys. Didn't think much of it because my muscles are always achy.
Also my legs were especially achy and squirmy last night.

rom109 7 years ago
Allergies--
Itchy inner ears as well.

Baby also sneezes much without nettles. Eyes get red and itchy.

rom109 7 years ago
kidney discomfort"...which side? exact location? how deep the pain? describe sensation best can? when had this before ?

John Stanton 7 years ago
It was just a dull ache over both kidneys. The sensation only lasted about 20 minutes.

I have had two kidney infections in my life. Both roughly 10 years ago. They were uti's that went to kidneys.
I also had two uti's when I was pregnant.

Last night was not a good night. Baby was very restless and wouldn't sleep unless his head was on my arm. Sweet, but uncomfortable.

rom109 7 years ago
It was not very deep as I was able to shrug it off as just achy muscles.

It was in my back --mid/lower--

rom109 7 years ago
please xplain the restlessness of babe?
what else noticed prior to sleep?after waking?

John Stanton 7 years ago
Yesterday he only took one nap. My fault as we were out and about. Despite his tiredness yesterday in the late afternoon, he was very reasonably happy.

last night he went to sleep pretty easily. I didn't need to bounce him at all.

His restlessness was just tossing and turning a lot, he actually got up in his sleep and then layed on his stomach for maybe 5 minutes, and then rolled back onto his back...and then on his side.

He was continuously kicking off the blankets, not tolerating them at all. (which was not cool cause I was cold). He usually does kick off the covers at some point in the night but only once or twice. this was continuous.

He would fuss a bit and almost wake up and want my arm around him with his head on my arm as a pillow.

He woke up this morning with squirming and fussing and somewhat crying. I had to say his name a few times and coax him all the way to consciousness to get him happy. Then he just popped up and was smiling and silly...and had the hiccups again.

hiccups--u were saying new symtptom?as wel as urself occurring ?

how was the waking 9smiling -silly) compared to prior medicine (lyc)?

how about urself?what's going on?just tell --now matter how seemingly unrelated..

John Stanton 7 years ago
hiccups happen for me rarely. I got them the night I took the Lyc dose. That next morning baby had them on waking.
He had them on waking today as well.
No more for me.

His normal attitude is happy/silly on waking. Usually he doesn't wake up fussing and crying first though. Only when he's had a bad night.

I am tired. I woke up very tired. My eyes and head were just burning and I was very sleepy. I felt like I had been up all night.

I took a nap on the couch when baby went down for a nap at noon. Slept for an hour, felt a little better. burning in head is gone. I'm slightly cranky due to lack of sleep.

Overall I feel quite a bit better as a general statement. My head feels more clear and I feel motivation to do things. The heavy lethargic brain fog is less. Much less.

On the flip side, I don't feel like drinking water today. I really would like to sit on the couch and zone out today. But baby is being pretty clingy.

rom109 7 years ago
baby clingy--examples--different than before?--same?

John Stanton 7 years ago
same.

wants constant contact. wants me to hold him. will sit still for a bit then he wiggles around and acts like he wants down but then cries when i put him down.

wants my attention.
