Son with Chalazion

8. List out all your PROBLEMS with its since how long,where,what you feel etc:in an order(which came first then which came?
ANS: About two months. One day the area around his eye was red and swollen, teary and painful. Within two or three days, there was a lump on his upper eye lid. No pain. He didn't notice that it was there for almost two weeks. After about a month, it came to a yellow, pussy head. It broke when his little brother hit him in the eye. It bled a lot and the puss went down. Within a week it grew again. It's no longer round, but now elongated.

ANS: He doesn't complain about it at all. Doesn't mind warm or cold compresses. Doesn't pick at it.

b)When Its Better,for each complaint (eg: by pressure,what time,by heat, by cold, any season,any food, eating,after sleep,by sweat,after stool & urine ,after bathing etc.?)
ANS: Warm compresses do seem to temporarily make it appear smaller.

9. Mind:sensitive/angry/sad/weeping/fear of/anxiety/shy etc.,memory,desire company,grief,lewd etc.
ANS: Mostly happy-go-lucky, agreeable kid. Does get frustrated when he can't be as independent as older brothers or is pushed too far. Has dysgraphia and anxiety over the idea of writing, but very smart. Doesn't like heights. Fearless.

10. Thermal:which weather do you prefer hot or cold? Which is NOT tolerable?
ANS: He does not like to be hot or warm at all.

11. Frequent or occasional nausea,vomiting to any food,headache,gas trouble, leucorrhea(white discharge-females) ,dandruff,hairfall etc.explain if any
ANS: He does seem to have issues with gas and burping. Has struggled with eczema since a baby and head sometimes gets flaky. Very very thick hair so it's hard to tell exactly when that happens.

ANS: Struggles with constipation. Not regular at all.

13. Urine: regular/quantity/frequent desire/satisfied
ANS: Urine is normal.

ANS: Does not sweat much.


16. Sleep:satisfied/disturbed?particular dreams?
ANS: Sleeps well. Morning person.

17. Appetite: how often,quantity,satisfied?
ANS: Healthy appetite. Prefers to eat earlier in the day and does not usually eat much for dinner. I'd say he tends to eat large breakfasts, medium lunches, light dinners, (but out skip if allowed) and two or three snacks a day.

18. Thirst: how many glasses ?how often?
ANS: Not sure. I don't think he is dehydrated.

19. Cravings:salt/sweet/sour /milk/egg/meat/veg/fruit/vinegar etc.
ANS: likes Prefers raw vegetables to meat. Typical kid and wants sugary treats often, but when told no, readily accepts tomatoes, bell peppers or onions. Tomatoes are his favorite food. He likes bread products (I make the bread most of the time) and dairy.

20. Aversion: salt/sweet/sour /milk/egg/meat/veg/fruit/vinegar etc.
ANS: There is very little he won't eat.

21. Intolerant foods if any which might be your favorite or not.
ANS: I don't know if he has any intolerances yet.

ANS:

ANS: None

ANS: He does complain of being itchy. Gets eczema if he has much cow dairy.

ANS: Pulsatilla is the only thing we've tried for this.

26. Any other things which you think it make you unique from others ..
ANS: He has a slight tongue-tie. Very bad acid reflux from about six weeks until age 2.

Thank you! I guess he really did just need more time. Today (Monday) it ruptured and is very goopy. He doesn't like it at all. Haha. Trying to keep him from touching it has been a challenge. Will gently wash the lid with a cotton ball and warm water. Will also keep up with the Pulsatilla until it's gone. Again, thank you!
