Dear Joe!!
His sixth day without inhaler and slept peacefully. Just woke up.Its about 7.30 am. Giving him steam therapy twice and Nat Sulph Split Dose.
Joe, last two days i m giving him a tablet of Ashwagandha twice after meal instead of Nat Phos 6X. It is too early to say anything but the primary results are as stunning as when i started your Nat Sulph for the first time. His sinus is almost clear. His nose clogging is asolutely clear. He is passing the stool regularly and his cold has all but vanished.
I will observe him very closely and keep informing you and take advice from you. But I would also like to share this info with all your friends and with the people in this forum who are dependent on you. Especially with Shiny/Fauzia after whom I was lucky to get your advice for my son.

Thanks for updating on ashwagandha.Could you tell what brand are you using.My son also suffers from a blocked nose off and on maybe this could help.Joe has been such a help can't thank him enough.I have been foll. your posts regularly seems like the same story repeated again.As parents all of us feel so strongly against the steroids which need to be given to these young children.I guess that's the reason we are here finding solutions.

The brand that I m giving to my son is Sheetal Medi Care Products Pvt. Ltd, Address: S. No. 59, Dakivali Lohape Road, Tal-Wada, Dist. Thane - 421 302. Regd Office: A-1/1, Veena Nagar, Mulund (West), Mumbai 400 080 Mah (India). The Telephone number is not mentioned on the pack. It is Aswagandha Tablet Only (Not Combo medicine). As per my knowledge even Baidyanath is having a product of Ashwagandha, though have not tried it ever.
I am giving my son a tablet twice a day after the meal (in the morning i have to give it after the breakfast as in the afternoon he does not regularly take meal due to afternoon school). I have started it only three days back but i can tell u it is working for his viral infection, cold, clogged nose fatigue, stool motions etc. For asthma I have not seen anything better then Joe's medicines.
I very sincerely hope that it will work for your son as well and also for fauzia's child. Even if it does not it is definitely not having any side effects whatsoever and also it is not interfereing with Nat Sulph wet dose.
I m not a praying type but these childrens problem make me look up with anxiety.

It is possible that Blatta O may replace the Nat Sulph therapy for Asthma. It is just that I have used NS for so many asthmatic patients successfully that I favoured it but from the data that you and Shiny have given me and I believe this includes Fauzia too, I may have to change my default remedy for Asthma to Blatta O as it seems to help you all better.

Nedd some help ,since the weather is changing Mihir has got a blocked nose.He is facing this problem at night.His nose gets blocked at night and he starts to breath through mouth which makes him cough .He sounds little wheezy at that time each inspiration through mouth makes him cough gave him ars last night after taking ars he fell back asleep .I searched the Remedy Finder which came up with Calcarea Carbonica.His nose is dry from inside but gets blocked at night and also after waking up in the morning.Discharge fro the nose is very little and that too if he tries very hard which is white in colour .Please suggest a remedy and if you agree with calc carb suggest what potency needs to be given.

Gelsemium 30c will clear his nose but this will be only good for about 4 hours.
I believe that he is coming down with another cold and this accounts for his blocked nose.
When he is well I would like you to give him Tuberculinum 200 in the dry dose. 4 pellets sublingually. I hope that this remedy will help to build up his resistance to his frequent colds and coughs. Please note that this remedy must NEVER be used other than about every 2 months.
I believe that he is coming down with another cold and this accounts for his blocked nose.

this is fauzia here.......Believe me my daughter had the same problem last month , th ewhole of august....and i kept on giving her steam from the kettle in the following way:
i used to put a thick bedsheet on her and my self , making a tent shape and put the kettle inside near her under my supervision for 15 minutes...
this i was doing 3 times and it helped.....secondly i was giving her chicken soup 3 times a day
thirdly i was giving her ginger and honey in hot water...
and continued with natrum sulph therapy..
and it helped......
i hope that u also benefit from this all....

Thanks for the advice .I also give my son ginger and honey tea ,i also add 2-3 whole black peppers .He takes it daily before going to bed.I think i was able to abort the cold.I also gave him aswagandha twice yesterday after meals and think that just did the trick,i have to thank Mr Vijay for that.

I was appalled to read the details of how you are using the steam therapy. I am glad to note that you too go under the tent with your daughter as she could otherwise be smothered by the blanket and possibly burn herself from the boiling water.
It is not at all necessary to go to such heroic levels to inhale steam. I recommend that the patient sits on a low chair with the electric kettle between her legs on the floor. All she must do is to bend over and inhale the steam which rises up straight from the kettle. She should be sitting about 2 feet away from the kettle to enable the steam to be sufficiently cool enough to be inhaled safely.
15 minutes of the torture that you and your daughter have subjected yourselves to is far too long. Just 5 minutes will do and thick bedsheets are not at all required as the steam alone is what you want her to inhale.
Do let me know how you get on.

Glad to note that my alternative therapy of Blatta O has helped Mihir.
It is possible that you may have to keep alternating the 2 remedies as the healing effect in one may diminish and this is when the other has to take over.
I would like you to please observe him carefully and report which you feel is the better.

My daughter is on natrum sulph therapy wet dose and she is doing ok..only today she coughed once ....
but whenever she develps the symptoms of sneezing or cold i start giving her ferrum phos 30c and after 2 or 3 doses she is ok and it doesnot aggravates....
about the steam:
i give her steam when she is having cold only 3 times a day for 10 minutes by making her sit at a distance and covering her with a bed sheet and putting the kettle inside....this way the steam doesnot escape, and she takes it fully and helped...
besides this i give her ginger tea when ever she has congestion.....

usually i give for 3 days only once a day
and the cold is gone

she is doing ok now , except for some occassions!!!!like yesterday she was wheezy after eating hob knobs buscuit, but she was ok as soon as i give her hot water boiled in cloves to drink followed by steam therapy

the moment u think ur child is startin a cold or cough or wheeze for that matter, as a first aid, give him or her a cup of hot water boiled in 6 cloves...then give her steam for 15 minutes asking her to inhale as deeply as possible...3 time s a day,then start giving her hot ginger tea in honey ....and ofcourse natrum sulph therapy to be continued....
i pray to God to cure ur child permanently..amen.
