Runny nose and cough

I had runny nose coupled with cough about a month back that started after eating curd. Cough continued even after a month. But before the coughing could end I have got another bout of runny nose with sneezing. I took a does of Aconitum Napellus 200. Runny nose slowed down. After three days I have got thick nasal discharge (greenish yellow) that comes out with difficulty, nostrils are blocked, dry cough and irritation in the larynx. Symptoms are much relived while sleeping, starts soon after waking up.

I am 60 years old male, living in the middle-east.

Will appreciate any help.

Natrum sulph 6x ,five tabs three times a day and a feedback after 4 days

Dear Anuj Srivasta,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am in Kuwait, where this medicine is not available. I am trying to get it from some other country.

Dear Mr. Srivastava,

I was able to get Nat Sulph 6X and took for three days. Unfortunately, it did not help. I tried couple of other Homeopathic Meds handed out by a local homeopath (I do not know their names as doctors do not usually tell the name.) After a few more weeks of coughing and then I contacted my doctor in India. He prescribed Manganum Acet. 30. This helped in a big way, although I am not fully cured.
