Dear Dr Kaps,

Have taken Hypericum 200 & Arnica 200(Hypericum before breakfast and Arnica after)

Neck Shoulder pains is present. On turning the head toward left or right, I can feel a nerve behind the ear getting tight. Now the pain is not on the shoulder or the base of the neck instead it is below both ears. More so when I turn my head.

Re my urine the flow I feel was a wee better on the day I took the medicine. However the urine does not shoot forward rather sort of dropping down. The flow of the urine should increase and should shoot forward instead of falling on my pants.

Today got wet during the drizzle. Now 7.30Pm IST, I was sneezing couple of times, plus sort of a nose block and voice change. Please advise.

Another thing is my 25 year old daughter got the cold. Gave her Ars Alb couple of doses and for her cough gave her SBL Stobal. However there is no relief in the wet cough. Her cold has subsided.

Please advise for my daughter and me.

Hope the cough does not go down. She is also taking a mix of water, lemon juice, honey and glycerine for the cough. With Covid, scared on her cold & cough.

I'll continue with Arnica in the meantime. Please advise on the Urine.

Urination

Can’t hold pressure for long and a few drops flow - YES
Stream. Thin and without velocity falling on your feet - YES
A few drops dribble, while closing zip - YES
Any peculiar smell or colour of the urine? - WHITE/PALE YELLOW & STRONG URINE SMELL
Any kind of pain irritation itching anxiety, Before, after or while passing urine ? - AT TIMES THERE IS BURNING ALONG THE URETHRA & SOMETIMES AT THE TIP WHILE PASSING URINE AND AFTER. AT TIMES NOT REGULAR THERE IS ITCHING AT THE TIP. WITHIN 20-30 MIN, THE PRESSURE BUILDS UP AND I NEED TO RUN TO PASS. IF THERE IS A SLIGHT DELAY 2/3 DROPS FALLS OUT.

How is your left hand pain left thumb which you had ? - SEVERE PAIN AND THE THUMB BECOMES STIFF
How is your pain at the bottom of the rib cage? NO THERE NOW

While turning head is it only left right or all kinds of turns to the head - YES ANY WAYS I TURN SIDEWAYS OR UP DOWN I CAN FEEL THE NERVES STRETCHING AND A SQUEAKING SOUND
Any vertigo associated with this - YES
Try to keep turning your head to feel the pain below the ears
Is it 24x7 - YES, when (time of the day ) is it worse and when best- IT IS THROUGH OUT. IF I DO NOT MOVE THE HEAD, FEELS LIKE A SLIGHT WEIGHT BELOW THE EARS
How is it when you wake up- PAIN WHICH EVER SIDE I KEEP MY HEAD

Effect of getting wet - MY THUMB AND MY FINGERS ON MY LEFT HAND BECOMES STIFF

Hope all your symptoms are better or gone. The sneezing and other discomfort went off after some time. My only concern now and a priority is my prostate gland size reduction and my neck.

Lot of improvement in her cough. Now it is slight and occasional. However my elder daughter has caught the cold. She has started coughing.

Doctor.. Whatever I recalled, have answered. In case any other info is needed please do let me know.

Almost a month since I have taken the medicines. No improvement as such except a few problems which is new. I am not sure if the flow has increased a bit.

While chewing my inside left ear pains. At times both the ears. However the left ear pain is bit severe. Today the ear pain is persistent from morning.(New problem)

Old problems which resurfaced.

Itching in the anus.
Pains inside the hollow of both knees
Left arm muscle pain.

Urinary Problems
No improvement as such. Even the duration between passing of urine also has not improved. I cannot travel bcoz very frequently I need to pass urine.

Even though there is a slight increase in the flow(not sure if it is due to the intake of water) the urine does not shoot forward. It falls down.
The urge to control the passing of urine and falling on my pants is still there.

Shoulder and neck problem which had subsided, has started again.

That's it for now. If anything new comes up, will update. Problems keep on increasing.

Another new problem which came up today is.. My younger brother has got viral fever. Now my throat pain has just started.

Hi Dr Kaps,

It's 4 days since I have taken the 4 doses of Aurum Met 200. Nothing good has come out of it so far.

Listing below the outcome after the medicines effect.

1. My sleep breaks up by 3 AM and am not able to sleep after that for a long time. Then around 5.30 - 6 AM I again feel sleepy. Sleep not refreshing. Later in the day feel sleepy and a lingering heavy head.

2. The lest ear pain which I had, has cleared.

3. Mouth ulcer inside the left cheek has cleared.

4. There is a throat irritation with a short dry cough.

5. The neck and the shoulder pain which had reduced has resurfaced.

6. The left thumb pain which I had earlier still persist.

7. Bloated abdomen with severe flatulence with loud sound. No smell.

8. Morning when I get up, I get a lower back pain.

9. Coming to the main part - no changes except I have a feeling that my urine flow is a bit restricted from the past 2 days. Other than that there are no changes to any of the earlier problems.

A. Day time need to pass urine within a span of 45 - 60 minutes.
B. Earlier used to pass urine once around 4.30AM or very rarely around 6.30 am the second time.
C. When I can't sustain the pressure/urge to pass urine, 2 drops fall out. Then in a few seconds, the flow starts. At times it takes a longer time for the flow to regularise, till such time a very weak stream flows.

To sum it up Aurum Met did not give me the much required push.

Have listed above the problems which I am currently facing.

Don't have any burning in the urethra on a regular basis. Sometimes I do feel the burning.

Yesterday took a single dose of Ignatia 1M.

However I woke up around 3.15AM with an severe urge to pass urine.Urine was passing with a very weak stream and took a long time to complete. Thereafter around 5.30 AM woke up again to pass urine. The second time stream was better and completed early. Typically now I need to go twice in the night. Twice getting up in the night is spoiling my sleep.

Have taken my 2nd dose vaccine a month back. Will Thuja MT repeated dose antidote it?

Today too woke up at 3 AM, passed urine and then went back to sleep. Could not sleep. Tossing and turning, then around 6 AM got up.
Could not sleep after 3 AM. The whole day was feeling tried

Tonight also got up at 3 AM with an severe urge, however was no able to pass urine smoothly. It just took time and besides it was dripping. After that Tried to lie down on the left side, somehow felt uncomfortable and breathing was a bit heavy and had to breathe through my mouth. Turned to my right side and slept and again after 15 minutes had to pass urine. This time there was no discomfort. At least urine could pass. Slept again after that and got up again by 6.30 AM, passed urine. And the day started.

Yesterday night I got up around 4 AM passed urine and went back to sleep. Woke up at 6.15AM. It was indeed a much needed relief. Let me check tonight also.
