Allergies yet again...
I live in central California and this year the pollen count is killing me. I have always had problems with allergies, even as a child. I have had shots, tried just about every over the counter and prescription drug out there, but none has helped.Last year I tried an on-line homeopath and had stuff (Thuja and Ignatia?) shipped from India. The stuff seemed to work okay, but, by the time I got the pills, the allergy season was nearly over and the support was less than available.
This year, my allergies struck so bad, I actually had something akin to an asthma attack, combined with a migraine, water eyes, sneezing and I went through a sizeable box of tissue in no time.
I finally had enough and this brought me to a store that sold homeopathic stuff as well as herbal supplements.
The store was out of all the homeopathic allergy remedies, so they gave me some herbal stuff to help 'balance' my body. It failed miserably.
This brought me to this website where I took the survey and the survey said... I should try Nux Vomica.
I took the Nux Vomica as directed on the bottle, 5 pills three times a day, and now I am at day 3 and my results are okay.
I still have itchy eyes (The right worse off than the left), bouts with my nose running, a few mild sneeze attacks, and an itchy throat. All the symptoms are better than before, but at times I feel a major allergy attack is just lurking around the corner. This is taking into account, that I have not really challenged my allergies by working outside.
For now, I have stopped taking the Nux Vomica as other forums I have read on this site seem to indicate only taking it for three days. So, what do I do next?
Thanks
