chalazion on 6 yr old

My six year old has developed a chalazion on her left upper eyelid. She has had it for over a year now and her opthamologist would like to surgically remove it. I came across this forum and would like to know what you thought her chances of a non-surgical remedy would be. Is it possible to get rid of the chalazion using homeopathy and what would be recommended in doing so? Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Following would help the child.

Two pillets of Silicea 3x two to three times a day for a month.

And Pulsatilla-30 just one dose a day for a week.

Hi
I found a super way to get rid of chalazion without surgery please try this...

1. Wash with antibacterial soap..I use Dial..

2. Plain old Epson salts mix with boiling water and apply compresses, not too hot, I use wash cloth and wring it out in another towel so I don't burn my hands and then applie when temperature is tolerable..it cools rather quickly and I get maybe 2-3 times out of the one compress..I have been doing it twice a day morning and night..you can reboil the mixture of epson salts with the water if still some left...

3. Every other day I have applied neosporin antibacterial ointment, just a tiny dab rub in until completely disappears...(Do not get in the eye)...

My chalazion started to get less red, but did not notice results until like 4th day, it started to get smaller and smaller..now a little over a week, it has practically disappeared and mine was big, red hard, no pus in mine it never drained it just vanished, you can see like a white spot under eyelid when you lift it up but this has just about disappeared also..I just started this routine myself when I look up different web sites looking for something, the antibacterial kills the infection and the epson salts help draw the infection out.....epson salts work for people with boils which is the same thing a clogged oil gland...

Other stuff I found while looking but did not try myself since the first thing I tried has been incredible result are listed below...

1. Castor oil applied to cotton ball tape on over night, said this would work in two days to drain a boil...also I read in an article about dry eyes that Refresh Endura has castor oil in it which helps meibomian gland orifice obstruction (which is the eye gland that is blocked with a chalazion) so it is safe for the eye..

2. A drop of Pure tea tree oil applied after the shower or bath..

3. Turmeric (all natural) do not know what this is but highly recommended on another site for boils, 450 mg a day..

4. Mix Espson salts with baking soda and make a paste stronger than my regimen above for drawing infection out..

5. Plain old potatoe slice applied to eye for 30 minutes to help draw infection out also...

5. Burdock root tea...I drink hot tea and I have just used my plain old warm lipton tea bag after I made it, and it made my eye feel really soothing but I believe my regimen above is what truely has made mine disappear....

I did not try any of the others listed because my regimen of epson salts, antibacterial soap and neosporin antibacterial ointment has worked amazingly...I would try one thing first and if that does not look like it is working within a week or so, try something else because otherwise you will not know what actually has worked..

I truly hope you give it a try, you will be super happy you did...I definitely wanted to avoid surgery at all costs as it seems everyone who I have read had surgery to remove the chalazoin has gotten even more than before..I beleive the infection spreads when you pop them open..

So that is everything I found to try and guess what the first thing I did worked...Yeah!!!....I hope it works for you too...Best Regards...
