UTI remedies?
My daughter has what I think is a urinary tract infection. There's no fever, pain or burning, but her urine is cloudy and very foul-smelling. She had this once before and was treated with antibiotics, but it's come back. She's got constipation problems that is treated with a mild, long-term stool softener. I've been told this can contribute to UTIs. Any remedy suggestions?rekajo on 2006-06-13

Dear rekajo,
Well on basis of information provided by you I advise you to give Sepia 30 thrice a day (6-10 pellets as one dose).
Report after 7 days.

She is 7, no other physical symptoms besides color and odor. No pain or discomfort. She does have an inability to hold it for very long - i.e., when she needs to go, she needs to go now - but she's always been this way.
She's a thumbsucker, prone to crying tantrums when she doesn't get her way, other than that a very happy child. Quite tall for her age, and thin (but not too thin).
Symptoms have been present for about two weeks. I've been treating with chewable cranberry tablets (400 mg.) with no success so far.
With added info, is sepia still the appropriate treatment?
Thanks.

Not sure what horse's urine smells like so I don't know about that. Does not smell like ammonia, or even normal strong urine. Can't think of anything similar, other than if you take the smell of an infected wound that's developed pus, and mix that with the smell of urine, I think that's what it would be like. (Sorry for the graphics.)
