Grace of the "Almighty" !!
Words of Sathya Sai Baba :'You might say that the Karma of the previous birth has to be consumed in this birth and that no amount of Grace can save man from that. Evidently, someone has taught you to believe so. But ,I assure you, you need not suffer from Karma like that.
When a severe pain torments you, the doctor gives you a morphine injection and you do not feel the pain, though it is there in the body.
Grace is like the morphine, the pain is not felt, though you go through it ! Grace takes away the malignity of the Karma which you have to undergo.
...You know there are dated drugs, which are declared ineffective after a certain date; well , the effect of Karma is rendered null, though the account is there and has to be rendered !!
Or, the Lord can save man completely from the consequences, as was done by me to the bhakta (devotee) whose paralytic stroke and heart attacks I took over some months ago, in Gurupournima week !
It is wrong to say that 'Lalaata Likhitam' (what is written on the forehead, i.e. fate) cannot be wiped out; that what one has earned in previous births must be consumed in this birth.
Grace can countermand all that; nothing can stand in its way. It is the Grace of the 'Almighty', remember. '

Karma.......previous lives.....you are touching some very interesting topics here Pankaj, well i believe in what we call 'Makafat e Amal' meaning that you get the fruits of your deed always, be it past lives or present, it keeps on happening all around us, with us and with everyone of us, yet we do not learn, all these diseases, sickness, all the experiences life weaves around us are the fruits of our deeds or our parents, good or bad.
When a human being is sick, and he suffers, the burdens of his bad deeds lessens on his spirit, and ultimately the spirit becomes light. This sickness not only cleanse the bad karma, but also makes one a better human being, when I was young and healthy, I was a wild, arrogant, rude, angry and egoistic human being, but now I have changed for the better, I have become a much much better person, and I think most of it has come from my chronic sickness .. I think, I have started understanding life, God, and how every creation interacts with each other, and how we fit in this cosmic puzzle of God. Sometimes I get very frustated, but then I convince myself, that it is my gods wishes, and there is something better in me (blessing in disguise), that maybe all my sins are being washed due to this illness, yet I do not close the door of any treatment which I can avail for my sickness, so I am happy in a very philosphical way of thinking.
I also agree with Sai Baba, that the grace of Almighty can wipe ones slate clean, but I also believe that one has to be deserving to earn that grace.
When Adam was created and life was breathed into him, he saw thousands of sparkling stars in the cosmos, and he asked what are these, God replied they are the spirits of my messengers who will serve humanity, and then Adam pointed towards the brightest star and asked who is this messenger and why does he shine so bright, God replied that he is Mohammed, and shines bright because he is the best, and he is best, because since his creation, he is been thanking me restlessly, more than anyone.
So you see Pankaj, we have to earn that grace
By the way I believe in Karma and past lives.

what we experience is a result--- the cause lies in the unseen --the unspoken...result of an inner state --as this changes so as does the response to the change...this as homoeopath a healer (so to speak) is what we seek to stimulate--a response so as inner state allows an ''''ease'''' to precide --where once dis-ease existed...call it anything one will...god for lack of better word...no amount of thinking will effect this--for the thoughts are also a result and are of a nature that reflects the inner state.....AMEN

Prophet Mohammed himself set a wonderful example of self-less service :
In Mecca Prophet Mohammed used to pass through a street to go to a place where his disciples used to collect.
An old woman ...did not like that He had started a new religion...she used to live in a house on that street..on the first floor.
Each time Prophet Mohammed passed that street.... in the morning...she used to throw filth on him.
Prophet Mohammed used to brush off the filth from his clothes and move on...
This continued for many months....one morning the woman did not throw the filth.
Next morning again Prophet Mohammed noticed that the woman was not there on the balcony.....so He climbed the stairs and knocked door...the women said 'come in !'
He went in and saw the women lying on the bed...so He asked her 'mother ..are you not well ?'. she replied...yes I have been ill for a week.
Prophet Mohameed went and brought the Hakim (local doctor)...and got her treatment done.
She became His follower.
Dear Sazim...this was narrated by SAI BABA to some of his muslim followers when they went for Baba's darshans....and Baba said it is a true happening.
For a Christian follower Baba created a true depiction of the original Cross (in wood) on which Jesus Christ was crucified....with Jesus Christ on it. When the person asked Baba why Jesus looked pale and had sunken cheeks...BABA said this is the true picture of Jesus CHrist at the crucification time and said Jesus had not eaten for more than 7 days...so He was pale and had sunken cheeks and a hollow belly.
Baba said that was the truth.
I have upload a picture of that Cross which Baba created....the original pc is with a devotee of Baba to whom it was gifted bu BABA.
Baba further said that He had gone back in time and reassembled the wood from the constituents that had made the original Cross...to make that cross (in picture below).
Such are the powers of SAI BABA !!!!

SAI BABA is over 80 years and He has said that He will live in this Body up to the age of 96 years.

Baba's devotee asked SAI BABA...why that hole there ?
Baba said ...the hole was there in the original Cross because the Cross was hung on a wall at the time of the crucification.

I am deeply interested in the superhuman feats of Sai Baba, further please clarify this, people from every major religion has claimed him to be theirs, where as infact in which religion was he born, this is just to satisfy my curiosity, it has no bearings on my believe in Sai baba as a great humanitarian, also is there a comprehensive book on his life, his achievements, and his beliefs, if so please give me the name of the book

What a wonderful discussion!!May this discussion generate a stronger bonding between all the healers on this forum so that we can serve more and more people to health and well being.
It is so wonderful how a loving soul (Sai Baba in this case) spreads love for God and creation among his followers, and his followers (Pankaj here for example) further spread it among their friends and acquaintances.The Circle of Love which starts with one person soon envelops the world inside.Similarly for the circle of hate (Hitler and Second world war for example).Let us all commit to expnsion of the Circle of Love.This is the only way to counteract and nullify the thousands and millions of circles of hate that are emanating from so many negative sources in the world.They threaten to engulf and endanger the life on this planet through wars, famines and disease.
God is one.All the paths lead to him.Let us embrace one another in the honour of Sai Baba, Prophet, Jesus and all the other enlightened souls that have dwelled on this planet.Let us join each other in selfless love.That is the best way to serve the True Self, which is God.

PUTTAPARTHI IS A PLACE NEAR BANGALORE ...150 KM FROM.....IN INDIA.

'BHAJAN' IS CHANTING OF MANTRAS

Yesterday's evening program started with a surprise visit by Swami outside mandir. Then at 3:00 pm Swami came to the Sai Kulwant Hall. The Yagnam was going on. After the yagnam two devotees gave speeches. In the second speech the speaker narrated about some of the miracles he experienced. The first one he told was about a lady who is from Madras (Chennai) who went for a medical scan and found that she had a tumor. After hearing the news she decided to come to Puttaparthi for a few days. She came to bhajans every day and after a few days she went back to Madras (Chennai) for treatment. But when the doctors did a scan to start the treatment they were astonished to find that she had no trace of tumor. In the second story a reputed doctor's wife was diagnosed with cancer and the doctor knew the speaker and asked him if he could send some vibhuti which would be helpful when she goes overseas for treatment. But to the doctors astonishment as soon as his wife started taking vibhuti she was cured of cancer. Some of the wonderful ways our Divine Lord Sathya Sai Baba helps his devotees. Swami after the discourse presented the speaker with a ring. Then Swami gave a discourse, its the fourth one in row. In this discourse Swami talked about not to waste 'FOOD, MONEY, and TIME' Swami also talked about the students and during the speech Swami invited two students* who study in Swami college but are from overseas. And asked them to recite vedas. Both of them did wonderfully and Swami presented both of them with gold chains. Swami ended the discourse by calling on the students from the musical college to perform some songs. The event ended after the performance from the Music college students. Swami left Sai Kulwant Hall at 6:15 pm and prasadam was distributed. It rained for a while after the event.

It must be understood that the root cause of suffering is due to lack of wisdom that enables you to realise the indwelling unity amongst apparent diversity.
The safest and surest means of uprooting this suffering is by removing ignorance, resulting in the realisation of the Reality.

The answer from the assistant was...'NO BABA !! '
..'he will sit on a clean throne '.
That is right ...said SAI BABA.....likewise 'God also will not be comfortable in all hearts'...'HE will sit only in Pure hearts !!'

god lives--it is not our concern nor our ability to know where god chooses to sit or if even chooses sit at all...there is no need personalize god with human attributes..if there is god--then we have nothing to do but live--no shoulds or shouldn'ts .if there is a god--this gd knows all--so why try this or that--trying is the root of hypocrisy....we are a swe are--no matter what we seem to others--if there is a god--this god sees as such--
